KOS - A Gastropub Reviews
Decent but not memorable. It is a bit expensive and seems to be trying too hard to be fancy for this area. Atmosphere seems a bit off in the backroom. Bathroom setup is odd and door needs fixing. Burger needed some more flavor. Old fashion wasn't great too much bitters. Dessert and cheese curds were excellent!
Amazing people. Delicious food.
Everything was perfect
Wonderful place right off main street. I wish we would have known about it sooner, we will be coming back!

KOS - A Gastropub offers a memorable fine dining experience with exceptional food, cocktails, and service. The atmosphere is warm, subdued, and quiet in the low table room, perfect for a romantic couple's night out. Across the street, a stunning Victorian Mansion is visible from the windows. The wait staff is superior: friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the menu. Service is impeccable, friendly, and efficient. The food is expertly crafted with a Cajun influence. The goat cheese truffles with lemon honey and jalapeño raspberry are mouth-watering, and the goat cheese red pepper dip is delicious. The blackened shrimp are very tasty. Desserts are not to be missed, including the fabulous flourless chocolate cake and mint gelato. The Gumbo with jumbo blackened shrimp and a cranberry pavlova are also recommended. There are vegetarian options like a chick pea masala and hearty appetizers. KOS is the best restaurant within a 30 minute drive of La Crosse, a go-to for both lunch and dinner, and a gem for out of town guests. Fine dining for two takes about 1 hour and 1/2.
