“As someone who comes from a mexican household and raised in mexico this spot brought back memories. Not only was my server ramon excellent at his job, he also made me feel like i had come here a dozen times before, the food was like a portal back to jalisco this isnt a authentic mexican restaurant. This is THE mexican restaurant. A hidden gem in a small city that people need to drive out and try. Thank you for bringing me a slice of my old home all the way in the midwest.“

“Pretty good food, but a bit on the pricey side. I ordered a burger medium rare and was told, "I'll try my best" (it came back medium). For $13.50 for a burger and potato chips, I should be able to get it how I want it. With that being said, the food and drinks are good, and the customer service is outstanding!“

“The rooms although a bit small, are clean and comfortable. Staff even has a complimentary laundry bag for you to store your dirty clothes in for your trip.The food in the restaurant is very good. You need to try their pizza! The staff is friendly and helpful. However if you are staying at the Motel, you need to check in before 9 PM because that's when the restaurant closes and there isn't any other way to check in.Overall, 10/10 would stay again if I'm in the area.“
