I'm not a huge McDonald's fan overall, but the ones in Richland Center, WI and Viroqua, WI really are a cut above the rest. The staff are almost always really pleasant, efficient, and consistent. The food is also consistent, hot, and made right (it is fast food, but dare I even say it tastes fresh?) Most of my time prior to last year was spent in larger cities like Madison, Milwaukee, or Rockford and everywhere in between- and this type of consistency in both service and quality rarely existed in fast food- hence why these 2 McDonald's are deserving of 5 stars.

Can I give absolutely negative 5 stars?! Everytime I go there they 1. Forget at least ONE if not more items. 2.burger is so sloppy I can’t eat it. It’s dripping and all the insides are slipping out constantly. McDonald’s prices went up but quality went WAY DOWN AT VIROQUA. Go somewhere else. I’ve gave them the last year to correct things. Kind of sucks because I’m a sucker for their food before this last years experiences?? I mean…I’ve never complained or been compensated for any of the 15+ wrong orders?♀️
DO NOT EAT HERE!! This was the worst. The workers were rude the lobby was disgusting and our order was completely wrong. My wife waited at the counter for about 5 minutes before even being acknowledged to get unsweetened tea. We will never stop here again.

Today 9/24/23 at 6.00pm i was ordering food with my family and a customer came up to the front desk and was very, very angry that his order got mixed up. He was so angry, he seemed almost aggressive. I was so impressed with how the manager and other workers handled this rude customer. They were firm but remained professional the whole time. A fine balance. I think these workers deserve a raise.
