After a long hard weekend in the U.P. Our ride home was a little rough. The driver said I need a bloody and a burger. Found the Wildcat Den on the old interweb. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door. Bright , clean establishment friendly face behind the bar. Exceptional steak burgers and tasty fries. Made our 3 hour voyage home much more manageable. Will be back on way through to the U.P.

Met with friends who were camping in Mountain. Loved the food! I had a bacon chicken Swiss sandwich. A selection of condiments is served. The house sauce (Wildcat Sauce) is a must try! Delicious! Excellent and very friendly service. Small place with big fun! We’ll go again!

This review is designed to give Wabeno and the Wildcat Den some love. I am not from the Wabeno area but I do frequently visit the area a few times a year. Thursday night July 14th 2022 was my first time here and I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and French fries. Was it the best burger I've ever had? No. But it was good enough to where I'd go back again and try another. The French fries were homemade and were very tasty. I ordered a brandy old fashioned sweet and the bartender used a mix vs muddling from scratch. I didn't finish the drink which was fine. The decor was your typical up north townie bar. One thing I liked hearing about this place was that they do daily specials and that they seem to put fourth a solid effort and want to be recognized. So again that's the purpose of this review. If you are in or around Wabeno stop in and show them some love.
