“After a long hard weekend in the U.P. Our ride home was a little rough. The driver said I need a bloody and a burger. Found the Wildcat Den on the old interweb. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door. Bright , clean establishment friendly face behind the bar. Exceptional steak burgers and tasty fries. Made our 3 hour voyage home much more manageable. Will be back on way through to the U.P.”

“Tim and Connie are the greatest of hosts! Their food is nothing like you will have outside a big city. And when they are done with service they sat down with everyone and chatted getting to know all the patrons. More like going to a friend's house who cooks gourmet meals than a restaurant or bar.”

“Stopped in for a pizza and a beer after finishing up a job for a client in the area. Pizza was good, service was friendly couldn’t ask for anything better on a cool fall day in the Northwoods. There was enough parking for our dump truck pulling a 22’ trailer.”

“Have been going here for years and only had one bad experience a couple weeks ago. Overall this place is awesome. I usually spend between 85 to 130 dollars when there. Yesterday I asked for Mayo for my burger and when I received my check they charged me 25 cents for what amounted to a spoonful of mayo. Is just me or is that just ridiculous after spending good money there?”

“Highly recommended! We were in town for a week and decided to watch the packer game there. The bartender was amazing. She would frequently walk around to make sure EVERY patron had their needs met! She was on fire! They served food at half time and it was great party food! I can't leave out how scrumptious the dessert was! We also HAD TO HAVE their haystack onion rings which are the best!!!!!!!!We also visited Baileys pour hous back in May of 2023. And their Fish Fry was soooooo good.The hospitality is just the best ever!If you are looking for a spot to go to when your in town and if you want to feel like your hanging out with family and good friends..... “I used to go here in the 60s and early 70s when it was called Billy Pops' Sunset Resort. had to stand on a case of empty bottled beer to play the pinball machine. They had the best burgers. My grandparents had a cottage on horn lake.”

“We’ve taken the pizza to go a few times. It’s not just one of the best around, but it stands up to many of the places we go to in Milwaukee. It’s similar to hand tossed dough, and I’m fairly sure the mushrooms are canned (which I personally prefer). Cash only but there is an ATM at the front of the bar.”

“The perfect chocolate malt! There is no higher praise. Congratulations. However, these perfections should be served with a big straw. Luckily, I carry a few around (my wife believes I use them toward some nefarious end and throws them away... the mind boggles). Just don't pass on additional cost to your customers as your prices are already on the high end.”

“I love coming here! Busy but not ever packed for a 2hr plus wait that I’ve ever had. Owner,bartenders, and waitresses do a fantastic job. I had the 8oz tenderloin and it cut like butter! Should have a taken a pic prior to eating it but couldn’t wait . Had a side of hot tortellini which I thought was a nice change. Cozy quiet dining room and that rustic feel. It’s like a hidden gem.”

“I had the Parmesean cracked pepper Cod with sweet potato fries. It was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was clean and fun. It was a bit chilly though. Our server was to notch and did a fantastic job. My son had the kids spaghetti (made with ziti noodles) and wanted seconds lol.”

“Stopped in Saturday evening for a sunset pizza, cloudy so not much sunset, but love to sit outside on the deck with a nice campfire & view over the lake! Service was good & everyone friendly, their pizza overall is OK, love the fresh, tasty toppings BUT they mostly fall off! put cheese on top to hold the stuff in, I personally think their sauce needs more ZIP! live music on the deck is awesome & we will be back but probably choose a burger next time”
