After having been there years ago when it was The Steak Pit, we were in the area and thought we'd go. We sat there for quite awhile before we were waited on. We ordered our food, they were out of two of our choices (whitefish & shrimp for the Alfredo)! We chose the Alfredo plain and it was tasteless and gummy. Our waitress never offered us the special which we heard another waitress say to a couple. She never checked on us after our meals came either. Disappointing service...

My husband and I spent the day in Bayfield and came upon the Harbor Table we decided to stop in there for a dinner. We had the sweetest friendliest waitress. Her name was Emily and she was service with a smile. Thank you, Emily for such a great service. You were the addition to our meal of making it so nice.

My wife and I ate there last night for our anniversary. We traveled 4 hrs for a weekend getaway. When we arrived, there were about 4 waitresses standing at the bay and one asked us if we’d like to eat at the dining area ( I counted about 3 tables of customers)or the bar area (maybe 12 patrons total)we chose the bar. We chose a table off the bar with no help from said waitress. We sat for a few minutes, looked around then I helped ourselves to some menus that were situated on the wall near our table. A waitress came immediately snatched the menus away and gave us identical ones which was pretty rude. The bartender then showed up and was very nice. We ordered our drinks then our meals after receiving our drinks. We waited 40 or so minutes for our food. When it arrived it looked great but we received our appetizers with our food (wings and side salad) My wife ordered a $40 steak that was rare when asked for med well and my walleye was average but for the price ($27)I’d expect better. We were checked on once in about an hours time and never received our waters we asked for initially. Our cocktails sat empty for 20 minutes before we were finished with our meals. We would have ordered at least another round to celebrate. We sat there another 15 minutes awaiting the bill while we watched our bartender stare at his phone in a now virtually empty room. We had to go to the bar and interrupt him so we could finally go. My wife could only eat half her steak and the service was lousy and rude.

Very wonderful place to eat that's not just fast food and it's definitely not just a bar serving food, it's a classy place where you can relax and enjoy your meal while also enjoying beautiful Lake Superior!

A letdown in comparison to what the previous reviews said. Upon arrival we were offered a great table, however the table was not assigned to a waitress. We watched multiple tables receive drinks and place orders. Eventually we had to ask the hostess for a server. After placing orders that included starters, the starters came at all different times instead of together. The entrees were not any better, also arriving staggered. The food itself was average, overpriced and bland. It felt like they were attempting to be a 4 or 5 star restaurant with 2 star quality. However, the cocktail drinks were fantastic. The list was atypical and had a unique selection to suit different tastes.
Such a great place on Lake Superior! No words to describe the view and service! Just stop in yourself and see!

Great restaurant and very affordable. We got chicken wings, which was the special, plus I got a big salad. Three mixed drinks rounded out dinner and we only paid $30. Outside the restaurant are deck chairs where you can enjoy a drink and watch the boats come into Washburn’s harbor. Very relaxing.
