This place was recommended in a Door County guide book I had, and it was well worth the stop! Best burgers, fries & fried pickles! The staff was friendly & quick & the tables were quickly cleaned when emptied. Well worth waiting for the next ferry! 😊

We’ve come here a couple times while visiting the island. We like that it’s a “fast food” option where we can sit outside with our dog! For fast food, it is a little slower than average but they do advertise that on their website so more of a heads up than a complaint. The burgers and ice cream are good, the cheese curds and fried picked were average. Love that they have a doggy sundae! However, the staff haven’t been very friendly in the times we’ve been here.

I had a delicious Chicago style hotdog and fries. My family said the burgers were top notch. Great malts and shakes too! Fast service.

The food is good but not great. The quality of the soft ice cream they use for their shakes is mediocre. The cheese curds were similar to Culvers but all orange cheddar, same type of breading. The hamburger and fries were good but was not worth waiting 1.5 hours for. The service was friendly. I would possibly stop here again if there was no line and I was in the mood for fried food.

While holding my child we took a video of our banana split being made. The owner came out of nowhere and berated me for ‘inappropriate behavior’. Then later he came up to our table to ‘apologize’ only to then tell me off again for inappropriate behavior as I could be ‘stealing recipes’. We saw this owner marching around telling kids off while at the same time asking people to come to his tiki bar round the back to buy alcohol. Yeah… I would steer clear. This is clearly a case of a business owner that likes tourist dollars but not the tourists that come with them.
First time visiting the island and this fantastic restaurant. Absolutely loved the vibe and music playing. The burgers were to die for. I had the southwest burger which was delicious!!! Prices are reasonable and plenty of seating. The owner was sweet and everyone seemed very nice. Definitely recommend stopping in if you are on the island.

Fun drive-in on Washington Island. So glad we stopped here. Prices were very reasonable and the food tasted really good. We will definitely stop by here again when we return to the island.

Loved this place! The burgers were DELISH! Shakes were huge and worth the price. The large fry is enough for two people. The cheese curds were crispy & the service was great. On a busy day you’d probably have to park down the street and walk a bit. The popcorn shop next door is also a must-do, free samples!

Had the Ice cream, it was good, nothing special. The owner evidently calls the police if you are parked in a no parking zone, which is marked with a sign practically laying on the ground. After the police show up, he then comes out shouting for who's vehicle it is, it's getting towed! Policeman rolls his eyes and just asks you to move, clearly irritated with what must be regular dramatic antics.
