“A little piece of popcorn heaven on Washington island. So many flavors and options that it’s quite addicting! I can’t tell you how many flavors we had. I think it’s been about 10 now? Our favorites are the kettle corn, garlic parm, door county cherry, Oreo, island mix and…. White cheddar. I am sure there are more as well.”

Bartender’s a bit rough around the edges, not gonna lie, but it’s kind of part of the charm honestly. The cherry old fashioned though?? SO good, worth the ferry trip alone.

Coolest part was learning the history of the bar — if you’re there for the bitters club or catch a club initiation you’ll hear the whole backstory, which is actually super interesting.

If you’re on the island, just go. Solid stop, good drink, fun history. 🍒🥃”

“Stopped in here randomly today after seeing they have gluten free bakery. Beautiful store, patio and had THE BEST gluten free cinnamon roll muffin I have ever had! Definitely will be back and highly recommend.”

“Love coming here when I am in Door County with friends and family. I always try a flight of cider, but recently discovered their vinegar as well and bought some pear vinegar. This was a lot like balsamic but with a yellow hue. Excited to try!”

“I've never had a gluten free pizza crust as good as this. we ordered an Americano pizza. sausage, pepperoni and mushroom. paired with a beet and goat cheese salad. I highly recommend this restaurant. I love the Blue Bear too for lunch.”

“Honestly, this place was better than my initial thoughts. Food was amazing. I got the cheese curd flight and their (I think) sesame blackened salmon. It was well prepared and it's presentation was amazing. The others in my group fortitude different dishes and the general consensus was that it was all great. When we got there we didn't have any reservations. At first it sounded like they only took reservations but then they told us we could sit outside. We thought that would have been the preferred seating over being inside. The wait staff was cheerful and bubbly. She was chatty abs eager to help with whatever we needed. The price for the food, I can say it was well worth it. For four people, I think our bill was $175. A bit pricey for me but glad I went. Will definitely stop again if I'm in the area.”
