We stopped in here on a whim yesterday to grab a beer before heading back to the mainland. Guinness on tap,and a good variety of other craft beers available as well. We loved the relaxed atmosphere, charm of the building, and the old books that are available to peruse. We look forward to returning here again in the future to try their food.

Wonderful experience! I was thrilled to find this gem. I loved the vibe, it felt very welcoming and comfortable. Enjoyed a cold Guinness on the patio along with an AMAZING vegan roasted vegetable sandwich - hummus, carrots, parsnips, watermelon radish, tomatoes, peppers.... curried couscous with door county cherries for a side - and lovely dates for dessert. So good! Omnivore husband loved his tomato/mozzarella sandwich. The owner, Kate, was super helpful and kind. Loved it here and can't wait to visit again.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options, a few vegan on menu along with more vegan options available. The roasted vegetable sandwich with hummus was incredible!

Kate does an amazing job and runs a top notch eclectic eatery and pub!! We've eaten here on every trip to Washington Island and too day her Salmon Wellington is to die for is an understatement!! Braving Deaths Door to eat and enjoy the music here is something you'll remember for a long time! You won't regret stopping by (but get there early if music is being played that evening)!!
