Great spot to pickup some lunch! The pizza was delicious and the service was excellent. I enjoyed chatting with the bartender who was very excited to share about the halls history. I was told the bar top is original which was cool. Will be back!

We visited at the end of the season on 10/14/25. Our group of five went for lunch, but no food is served on Wednesdays except frozen pizza. We did get to join the bitters club which was super fun and our Bartender was hilarious as she shared the history of the bitters club. We also had the very best old fashioned I've had in my life. Don't miss out on the Door County Cherry Old Fashioned here, it's worth the ferry ride in itself!

I had chicken strips, French fries, and cheese nuggets. The cheese was super good. My friends tried them and wished they had ordered some.

Not sure what people can complain about, I go here every time im on the island. Bartender works his butt off and the food is very good. It's not cheap but what do you expect on an island. I would consider it a high end touch on bar food. Super good wings and burgers. Great place to start your island adventure and join the bitters club. I really enjoy watching people's reactions to the shot of bitters. Also the cool old fishing photos in the bathroom always hit close to home for a lifetime wisconsin fisherman. Everyone we meet here including the staff is super nice.

Historic bar on Washington Island. Great old fashions no review for food, kitchen wasn’t open, but friendly bartender gave us some good island tidbits. Very cool old bar and decor.

Website states that they are open for lunch/dinner. One of the reasons was that when I called, they stated their patio was dog-friendly. Unfortunately, when arrived, I was told that their kitchen is only open for lunch and closed at 2pm.

Omg! I dont usually get fired up about bad attitudes but, after we were told that we could move some tables together so that our party could sit together, we had 2 people come out and yell at us for moving the tables (owners?) And a diff waitress got nasty with us when we asked if we could have separate checks. Our waitress was very nice, and i felt bad that she wouldnt make a tip from ua bc we left. And bc she has to work with those miserable people.

This is by far the worst restaurant I've ever been in. My family and my sisters family stopped there to eat yesterday. The large tables were full. The waitress (who did a great job and should work somewhere else) asked a young man there if we could put two tables together, he said yes. Then a woman came over and pointed to the two tables to move. We moved the tables and not even did we sit down and a woman came out of the kitchen rudely telling us not to move tables, then said its 100 year old floor. I explained that we were told to move them. She asked by whom and I told her that as well. She just walked away. A few minutes later a man comes out of the kitchen chewing us out about moving the tables. I walked over to him and told him we didn't just come in moving tables, we were told to. He walks away. We sit down to order and my sister asks the waitress for two separate checks because it is two families. The waitress was going to check and the hostess comes over with and attitude and says no separate checks. One person with a bad attitude is just someone having a bad day. 3 people is a culture in a business. We just got up and told the waitress she did a great job but we are no longer interested in dining there.
