Best place to get breakfast and killa coffee on Washington Island. A very beautiful family ran business. I recommend the Hot Hot Honey ? breakfast sandwich.

The coffee was fantastic, and the breakfast sandwich was the best food I had during our trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything I had here as I can be a bit picky with my coffee. I will say I felt really uncomfortable each time I went in. We stayed in the island in fall, so I’m sure it was the end of a busy tourist season; however, I felt like I was intruding when I visited. It felt like we were an inconvenience and we skipped ordering food the second time because of that. There are not many options on the island, which is why people pick this as a destination as a way to escape; however, we didn’t have the ability to cook or make coffee in our cabin. I did visit very early as I have a little one who is an early riser, so my experience may be due to the locals having their time early in the morning. Either way, it did not stop me from going back every day during my trip. I just tried to make my visit there short and sweet.

Incredible food and coffee.
An absolute must visit, especially if you're getting off the ferry early in the morning.
There's definitely a big rush of customers early in the morning, I would recommend going here in-between ferry drop-off hours for the best experience.

Quick service despite the long line on customers. Both coffee and teas are delicious.

Food is great! Breakfast sandwiches are easy to take with you on your ferry ride out of town. There is a little deck out back with about 6 tables to soak up the morning sun, and they sell the local newspaper (The Observer) inside so you have something to read while you sip your joe. Very cute place, I find myself coming back again and again!

Delicious coffee and amazing food. I had the Tate special luckily before it sold out. I was visiting on the island and heard people talking about it at the beach! The staff is warm and welcoming. I was able to get gifts for my family. They had cool graphic apparel and a variety of other gifts to choose from. Will be back. A must stop on the island!

Red Cup is simply put, the best. They have the best coffee, baked goods, staff and breakfast. It’s true! If you skip going to Red Cup while you’re up on the island then you’re a fool, you’ve missed out and you must go back. Grab a breakfast sammie and some killer coffee and go sit out on the deck and enjoy the most perfect little slice of the island. Truly one of my happy places.

Decent quiche, mediocre espresso. I'll try their regular coffee next time

First place we stopped on the island was for coffee. Cute little shop with some basic souvenirs. The food all looked amazing but we left with coffee and hot chocolate. HC reminded me of instant mix.

Parking: Parking was off to the side is the building with plenty of room

NOTE: kitchen closes at 11am (as of this writing). REVIEW: This is my fave place to have some solo time on the back deck after enjoying a green egg sandwich and an iced latte.

We had a good experience here. Our coffee was good. Good but limited menu. A nice place to hang out for a while.

Definitely the best place for quality coffee on the island! Food is always great and every coffee drink is tasty. It feels like you’re among family and friends here, just comforting. There’s gifts you can buy inside that are unique and there’s a good variety to choose from.

Parking: Street parking in front is free & side lot parking is also free.

This place was interesting. Looked like a cozy clothing store, with a coffee store plopped in

Vegetarian options: The pastries are the only vegetarian foods I think

Dietary restrictions: None that I know of

Parking: Parking is exclusive to the place

Kid-friendliness: Nice and cozy, but not for your kid if they are loud or energetic

Wheelchair accessibility: Steps to get up, and lots of clothing hangers
