Sadly looks like a poorly built pole barn. Very expensive for what you get. 😞
Wonderful place for fresh fish. And sometimes you can meet the fisherman. Just a wonderful experience. And you know fishermen know how to cook their catch. It was positively the best. Parmesan or blackened whitefish with green beans and red potatoes.
Our friend had the perch which were great too. Take a ferry ride to fish heaven. You won't be sorry.
Dear God.... The 'Kenny' will change your life! ❤️
one of my fav places to frequent on the island. can’t beat fresh caught fish. the parm whitefish is amazing as is the kenny (a whitefish rueben). they do karaoke on saturdays and have fish boils (a wisconsin classic) in summertime. the coop has outdoor seating to enjoy an old fashioned or bloody mary on a sunny afternoon. and the family who owns the place is absolutely the best.
Quite possibly the best whitefish I've ever had! We ended up here last week during an off-season visit to the island and it was phenomenal! Super friendly staff and great drink selection, I ended up leaving with a bottle of the cherry apple cider. Bonus, they're open year round-- we'll definitely be back!
A very nice restaurant.

I got the Kenny which is blackened white fish with thousand island. Essentially a reuben sandwich. Loved it! I would get the same meal if I went back. Service was great despite being under staff. Host was friendly always checked in to make sure our food was good. And recommended places to visit on the island.

Fantastic food, it's definitely my favorite place to eat on the island.
Kenny, the owner, is one of the nicest guys you will meet. His son Hans is a cook there. He is also an extremely nice guy. If you want to go to the island and feel like you're really a part of it, this is the place to go.

Exactly what you would expect and more from a pub on Washington Island. Mostly fried foods, some burgers, etc etc.

Nice place. Great staff. Good food. I was encouraged to try the "Kenny" sandwich. Awesome, new take on a Reuben with deepfried blackened whitefish. Very tasty. Highly recommend this sandwich. Cheesy broccoli soup was also good.

We waited 2hrs for overpriced rubbery fish and tasteless french fries. Our waitress was friendly, however. Very disappointing experience compared to their relatively high review score.

Had the broiled lawyer and it seemed like a lot of money for a small amount of fish.
