I got the Kenny which is blackened white fish with thousand island. Essentially a reuben sandwich. Loved it! I would get the same meal if I went back. Service was great despite being under staff. Host was friendly always checked in to make sure our food was good. And recommended places to visit on the island.

Fantastic food, it's definitely my favorite place to eat on the island.
Kenny, the owner, is one of the nicest guys you will meet. His son Hans is a cook there. He is also an extremely nice guy. If you want to go to the island and feel like you're really a part of it, this is the place to go.

Exactly what you would expect and more from a pub on Washington Island. Mostly fried foods, some burgers, etc etc.

Nice place. Great staff. Good food. I was encouraged to try the "Kenny" sandwich. Awesome, new take on a Reuben with deepfried blackened whitefish. Very tasty. Highly recommend this sandwich. Cheesy broccoli soup was also good.

We waited 2hrs for overpriced rubbery fish and tasteless french fries. Our waitress was friendly, however. Very disappointing experience compared to their relatively high review score.

Had the broiled lawyer and it seemed like a lot of money for a small amount of fish.

Their fish dinners are phenomenal (I recommend ALL of them when they're available and/or the fish is in season), the drinks come a-plenty, and their service comes with a smile. What more can anyone ask? I've been driving up to the Island for over 20 years, and KK's has and will always be my favorite spot up there. And once you're done with your food, drink, and merriment, if they're still open, take a walk across the street and grab some homemade fudge at the Mercantile for dessert.
Paid a visit recently on 07/13. Tried their Big Game elk burger, and it was hands down the best hamburger I've ever eaten in my entire life. Not an exaggeration. Perfectly cooked juicy elk patty with crisp lettuce, tart pickles, fragrant red onions, and a nice succulent tomato slice all in between 2 beautiful burger buns that could barely contain and absorb the delicious meat juices. Had to practically unhinge my jaw to take bites out of it and had greasy burger fluids dribbling down my chin and hands. Absolute, messy perfection. It also came with some nice crispy fries as well. We had a great dining experience, and our waitress was an absolute gem and a rockstar. Come check them out!
Vegetarian options: They have salads, coleslaw, fries, parmesan fries, and sweet potato fries.
Dietary restrictions: Probability not Kosher or Halal. I did see an option for gluten-free buns. But I'd also ask ahead if you're concerned about any food allergies you may have.
Parking: There's a few spots in front of the restaurant and a few more off to the side. When they get very busy, it may be difficult to find a spot due to their limited space.
Kid-friendliness: It's kid-friendly, as I have seen families bring their children along on multiple occasions.
Wheelchair accessibility: This establishment is wheelchair friendly, and their doors appear wide enough to accommodate an assisted mobility device.

One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Atmosphere is also good, with indoor/outdoor seating. Good drink selection and friendly staff. Service was a bit slow at times.

This bar did not disappoint. Probably the best BLT I've ever had. Just the right size, not too big or small. The bread was toasted perfectly. The potato salad was very good as well. The bartender was a character too!

During peak time the food service was closed due to short staff. Could not enjoy my drink due to the abundance of flies. The icing on
The cake is when a young female bar server attempted to steal my phone ( I even called my phone and she pretended not to hear it ringing) just sad.
