We had a awesome breakfast. We had the biscuits and gravy. It was huge but awesome. The staff was very nice. It is at the front of the island by the car ferry.

The menu was not what I expected from a BBQ place. That being said the food was delicious and they have a dog friendly patio. The server brought a bowl of water out for her as well!

We ordered two half chicken lunch specials. They came severly undercooked and inedible. I showed the server, and he said they would bring two new ones.
The owner came back with two new servings and then proceeded to lecture us about how the chicken wasn't actually undercooked and talked about how bad the server messed up by taking our food back. I BBQ chicken frequently and know what raw looks like (pink translucent meat, this wasn't smoke ring pink).
She told us that they temped the two new pieces of chicken to 190. If they did, it was with an infrared because the new pieces were just as raw as the first underneath the first half inch of meat. We decided to just not eat the chicken and leave.
Everyone else we interacted with on this island was wonderful. Based on the responses to other negative comments from this owner, she is probably going to call me a name and explain it away and say I don't know what I'm talking about.
If you want dangerously undercooked chicken and terrible customer service, this spot is perfect for you.

My daughter has celiac disease and this restaurant offered multiple gluten free options and we felt completely safe eating the options. Great GF biscuits and fried chicken (doesn’t matter if you aren’t GF because they are so good!)
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! This was our first time on Washington Island and this was the best food we've had in all of Door County. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my fiancé had the fried chicken sandwich. Both were fresh, hot, and exquisitely prepared. The staff were also very nice and were conversational and provided good recommendations for spots to visit. We're home now and are already very much looking forward to visiting again next year.

Predictably good food. Had lunch with 3 guys who like to eat. Pretzel roll was perfect for the BBQ pulled pork or brisket sandwich. Fries were both tasty and a nice portion. Solid assortment of beers. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Clean!
