“First visit back in 40 years and still has the same atmosphere as back then. Diverse menu options, lunch specials, friendly service, good food. Glad we decided to revisit after a long absence. one caution: CASH ONLY. That was a surprise when we went to pay as there was no mention of it anywhere ..not on the menu, not by the cashier. Lucky I had enough cash to cover the bill as often it’s credit card only for this patron.“

“We used The Suburban Bourbon / Three Legged Pig for our Wedding on 9/3 at the South Shore Pavilion in MKE and I cannot recommend this place more, 10 out of 10! We ran into a catering glitch 2 months before the big day and found this business- the owner Pete swooped in to save the day! He was extremely responsive, helpful, friendly and FUNNY and helped make it one of the best days ever! Everyone LOVED the BBQ, mac and cheese, CHIPS and late night paninis. The food and service was SPOT ON! They also accommodated our vegetarian and GF friends :-) I will always call this a serendipitous encounter and I am so happy to have found The Suburban Bourban/ Three Legged Pig/ Pete and the whole crew, thank you all!“

“This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, served steaming hot and spicy enough for our tastes. The service was good and the atmosphere fine. We had a Hunan beef and shrimp dish (Human Triple Delight) and chicken yaki udon with green tea. For my part, I enjoyed these Japanese noodles; the veggies were crisp and tasty. Portions were adequate and the seating comfortable. For dessert, we shared a fried cheesecake, a novelty for us. It too was excellent. The final bill was very reasonable. Parking space is more than adequate. We’ll definitely go back. One suggestion to the owners: please include one or two more hot tea choices. Green tea was fine; a choice of Oolong and one more would be nice. Thanks!👍“

“Went for the Friday fish fry with the family. As most places it was busy around dinner time on a Friday (30 minute wait). A young lady pointed us over to the hostess table which is on the opposite wall of the entrance. Once seated server was there almost instantly. Drink and appetizer order was taken immediately. Wisconsin cheese curds were light and stringy, our boys loved them. Chicken wings were good, crispy where sauce wasn’t applied, think I might actually like them better this way. Grilled shrimp was ordered by a few of the family and they were large compared to most other places. Red potatoes were soft and well seasoned. Baked Cod fish fry was great, potato pancakes were also softer and not greasy. Will be returning again.“

“I found this little gem of a place about 10 years ago. If I made it that way more often I am sure I would eat there more often. We have even done take out for Friday lunch with a crew at work. Great buffet and for me, typically, I don’t eat enough to warrant a buffet. I think they have the price perfect for my pallet and capacity to eat too much. I was able to eat enough fresh and hot food to not overeat and save room for ice cream…went for seconds on the ice cream!“

“We had reservations at 6:30 a party of 14 of us dined last night for New Year’s eve. The service was amazing (wish I caught her name) The food was great! From the unexpected cheese and whitefish starter to the bread bowl soup and the the Filet and scallops which I had was tender and full of flavor! Thanks for the memorable experience!!“

“Ordered chicken lo mein for 10.00$ I got so much food I couldn't even eat it all. I found my new spot for good food and cheap. Went in and ordered and less than 5 minutes it was ready. Cheaper than all the fast food restaurants around. I will definitely be back.“

“Best Chinese food around...it's very similar to traditional Chinese food you get in China Town. The owners are SO caring and generous...and their kids work there, too. We eat the food almost every week and have never been disappointed. Fantastic job, Lee and family. We love your restaurant! Thanks.“

“Our family style carry out dinner for 5 was a feast. 10 out of 10. Plus we have leftovers.
Stir fry veggies; Kung Pao; Red curry with chicken (ask for spicy #3 to get some heat and ask for extra curry or the flavor is a little weak); Stir fry basil with chicken; Pad mee with pork; Chicken satay (2 orders). $75 incl tax.
We like a little heat (less sweet), so we always ask for extra spices. Their range goes to 5.
The wait staff is super friendly. Very casual atmosphere. Interior is a bit too casual for a nice date night. It’s More like a fast food restaurant. We have been there 5 times in the last 6 months.“
