“We used The Suburban Bourbon / Three Legged Pig for our Wedding on 9/3 at the South Shore Pavilion in MKE and I cannot recommend this place more, 10 out of 10! We ran into a catering glitch 2 months before the big day and found this business- the owner Pete swooped in to save the day! He was extremely responsive, helpful, friendly and FUNNY and helped make it one of the best days ever! Everyone LOVED the BBQ, mac and cheese, CHIPS and late night paninis. The food and service was SPOT ON! They also accommodated our vegetarian and GF friends :-) I will always call this a serendipitous encounter and I am so happy to have found The Suburban Bourban/ Three Legged Pig/ Pete and the whole crew, thank you all!“

“We hired Double B’s to cater a meal for our extended family after my dad’s memorial service. They came to my mom’s home and had everything set up so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The ordering process was wonderful and they showed so much compassion. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. “Just tried this place today. An all I can say it such a wonderful breakfast. My wife has a gluten allergy. They are very knowledgeable, know what there doing. An make your experience the best it can be. Gluten free French toast with in house made gluten free bread. It was delicious. Made the wife cry happy tears knowing she could feel normal. “The pork chop was excellent! I liked that it was served with Gnocchi and not rice or a normally cooked potato. I sampled a bourbon drink and it was so good. Too much sugar if you have diabetes like my partner. Haha“

“We have eaten at open flame occasionally and have always been satisfied. Tonight I ordered pork tenderloin medallions. What I recieved was I think 2day old pork cutlets 1/4 in thick and so hard my meat knife wouldn't cut them. Topped with maybe a tablespoon of gelatin thick gravy with-I counted- 6 pieces of mushrooms. My wife"s stuffed flounder was good. I had a really bad day so to prevent my making a scene I just waited for her and I left. The 4 star overall rating is based on our previous history of meals here.“

“Had a cheeseburger and fries plus classic Bloody Mary which was pretty good Plate burger and fries came on was too small so juice from pickles kinda saturated the bun. Ordered medium done for meat but pretty much raw. Maybe that was my fault and should of ordered med well? Liked the fries a lot as not too salty. Service was GREAT! Somehow my wallet came out of my pants pocket and must've fell on chair seat. When we'd left, server tried tracking us down but we were already on our way. I realized it wasn't on me when I got home so called. They had retrieved it and put it in a safe place until my son picked it up the next am. Honesty and integrity those workers have there. God bless them! ❤“

“I had ordered a pizza last night from Alphonso‘s and I thought it was the absolute worst pizza I ever had when it arrived at my house. It was almost burnt. I called and complained to the manager. He said he would do everything he could to make it up to me. So I stopped in today and they gave me a pizza and one of their sandwiches and I haven’t had the sandwich yet because I’m too full from the pizza, it was a night and day difference From yesterday to today. It was excellent.“

“Excellent food. But not the greatest customer service experience. I’d recommend sitting in the bar area or further back. We were seated in the front by the garage door. We had to eat with our coats on it was so cold. We asked to be moved, we even said we’d wait. They would not accommodate us. Bartender was awesome! Server not so great!“
