“We picked up the hand breaded fried cod with fries and potato pancakes. I have never had a take out fish fry that I’ve loved after getting it home, until now. WOW. The breading was crunchy, cod was cooked perfectly, it came with a delicious coleslaw, rye bread, tarter sauce (yum!), applesauce and lemon. This is absolutely a top 3 fish fry for me. We can wait to go back!!!“

“I had my 40th birthday party at Pop's and it was an incredible time! The drool-worthy food, the fun atmosphere, tiki bar, this place has it all and was the absolute perfect spot for both our small kiddos and our big adult kiddos. The staff was above and beyond and just crushed it on all levels!“

“I had ordered a pizza last night from Alphonso‘s and I thought it was the absolute worst pizza I ever had when it arrived at my house. It was almost burnt. I called and complained to the manager. He said he would do everything he could to make it up to me. So I stopped in today and they gave me a pizza and one of their sandwiches and I haven’t had the sandwich yet because I’m too full from the pizza, it was a night and day difference From yesterday to today. We had to eat with our coats on it was so cold. We asked to be moved, we even said we’d wait. They would not accommodate us. Bartender was awesome! Server not so great!“

“We decided to give this place a try. Joey's Diner is right next door and we liked the food there. We had a thin crust pizza and 2 chocolate shakes. Food was excellent. I would recommend if you enjoy a good thin crust pizza. The crust itself is crisp along the edges with a chewy interior. The owner and servers were all friendly and made sure we were happy with everything.“

“Ok, first time trying this place today. Lemme just say, this place is clean, friendly staff and nice atmosphere!. Had the lunch buffet, was top notch. I love a good salad bar with a lot of fixings, they even have extras like pasta, potato salad and more….the pizza was so good! The crunch and toppings that come to the edge of crust, spot on! “There are 2 young girls working today, standing in view of customers, eating breadsticks, drinking and using cell phones. When a customer walks up to the counter, they are giving them food, plates, silverware, with unclean hands. I don't see this kind of thing going on when the manager is here.“

“Finally got the fish fry, well my husband did and I got the grilled cod, it was fantastic! My 2 pieces of cod were GIGANTIC and very flavorful as well. Busy place and a really friendly bartender who helped us while picking up our food. Will be back to tey other things!“

“They have phenomenal pizza. Hands down the best. Their chicken tenders are also amazing. They HAD amazing fries, too, but recently changed up from standard long cut fries that had some of the best seasoning in town, to unseasoned or salted flat cut fries. They are kinda gross as is. Would rate this 5/5 if the fries where as they were weeks ago.
But the pizza is still top notch.

Our server was attentive, there wasn't many people in the restaurant at the time we were there but I can see where the service could be lacking during the high traffic periods. The Eggs Benedict was the best ever, the Gyro Skillet lacked the meat, so the food while tasty was lacking ingredients.“

“We have eaten at open flame occasionally and have always been satisfied. Tonight I ordered pork tenderloin medallions. What I recieved was I think 2day old pork cutlets 1/4 in thick and so hard my meat knife wouldn't cut them. Topped with maybe a tablespoon of gelatin thick gravy with-I counted- 6 pieces of mushrooms. My wife"s stuffed flounder was good. I had a really bad day so to prevent my making a scene I just waited for her and I left. The 4 star overall rating is based on our previous history of meals here.“
