“We had the Friday fish fry options. Lake perch was 2 generous pieces and the combination platter of cod, walleye, perch was also generous portions. All cooked perfect with a good batter (not thick). Seafood bisque was tasty. We would come back.“
“I have driven past this place for a couple years now and I have never seen an open sign light up but today it was shining bright so I stopped for an adult beverage. Brian was bartending on my visit and it was all regulars but they didn't make me feel like an outsider. I ordered my Gin Rickey and no one in the bar had ever heard of it, no drink for Brian today but any bartender who can make one gets a drink on me. The place is your typical WI dive bar with a theme of bobble heads because the owner collects them. The staff was very friendly and the Gin Rickey was very refreshing. The place has a small bar with one giant flat screen and smaller flat screens around the room.“
“It is a great place to meet new and old people from all around the state of Wisconsin and surrounding states. “Brought my boys fishing from the shore. Would not recommend wasting your time with the shore fishing. Very little space to fish and the constant gunshots from the range is very annoying after about 10 minutes but what do you expect its a gun range. Ordered a couple kid cocktails the bartender and a couple locals were very friendly.“
“My husband was told about this place from his boss. We decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did. The food was amazing. Went on a Friday and it was packed but got a table right away. The only negative thing I have is, the clam chowder soup could use smaller potatoes and more clams. Other than that the soup is a 5 out of 5 for flavor. The shrimp dinner I got had HUGE breaded shrimp. My husband got the breaded cod, very good. And let's talk about the coleslaw. I haven't had a decent slaw in yrs and this is sooooo good, if you like it creamy. We highly recommend this place. And we will definitely go back.....“
“I purchased a Muskego Warriors Football discount card last Fall and Pop’s Pub is one of the restaurants listed so we thought we’d stop in and give them a try for lunch.Best decision ever!!! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!!We were unaware that they do smoked meats- but as soon as you park your vehicle you can smell it- wonderful discovery!Don’t let the slightly run down front exterior detour you!! Inside is friendly and inviting and the staff is super welcoming. Out back is an entire outside area that we can’t wait to utilize in Spring ASAP.We got the 3:3 smoked meats. Brisket, pulled pork, bourbon chicken, baked beans, Mac and cheese, potato’s. All absolutely delicious!! Smoke was just right and the Texas BBQ sauce which is slightly sweet and the KC sauce which has a very slight kick were both super fantastic! Pickles were sweet dill an excellent complement to the smoked meats. Cannot wait to return!!!If you haven’t been- go now!!!“
“This little cement shack in the middle of nowhere has a Friday fish fry that is out of this world. Back in the woods near the lake you will find.The potato pancakes that are so so delicious yummy apple pie good. The Apple and cinnamon already in the batter. I could eat a basket full of just the potato pancakes!The potato fry's with my wife's fish fry just as amazingly delicious. The coleslaw very good just perfect .And the main part of the meal, the fish fry. Three options; cod, Walleye, bluegill We ordered the cod fry. Oooommmmmgggg!!!!!!! This is one fish fry you eat all by itself. No tarter sauce needed. Very lightly batted seasoning is perfection. I have never in 60 years had a fish fry taste this good.My compliments to the chef and the owners. You need to put this establishment on your Friday fish fry must stop and visit list. I guarantee that you will be blown away by the flavors presented in the fish fry offered by this local little bar/restaurant.Bon appétit.“
“First time here and had a pizza. I love pizza and this pizza is legit. Amazing sausage, decent pepperoni, and nice thin and crispy crust. Don't let the fact that the restaurant is connected to a bowling alley fool you. This pizza can stand on it's own. Great service too.“
