“I visited on Saturday. Menu is very limited but good. Pizza and gyro. I had the gyro. Freshly made, tasty tzatziki. The pizza is also made by hand as well, choice of toppings. A nice little friendly bar.“

“Great bar good but not typical, eg the usual French Dip is called an Irish Dip, served with sliced tenderloin steak. Cheese and Brat soup for game day. Wings are delicious with lots of sauces.
On Brewers game days their lot fills up fast, but there's plenty of neighborhood street parking.“

“As others have said, homey/divey vibe, nothing fancy but perfect for what it is. Feels like it's always been there. Great food too, friendly owner/bartender, an an excellent brandy old fashioned.
If you don't love this place, I think it says more about you than it does about Phylos!“

“My hubby did a pickup order and wow, we were impressed! Pickup fish fry isn’t usually something we do (thanks kidney stones for ruining our night) because it gets soggy but tonight we had to and it was really good. They packaged everything separately so the tartar and the slaw weren’t warm sitting in the container with the hot food, I had the combination platter and the package the baked cod in a separate soup container which was great. My husband had the blue gill and really enjoyed them as did our 5 year old. The food was all really delicious and I can’t wait to dine in next time. My husband said while he had a beer at the bar while he waited for our food all of the employees were friendly and pleasant.“

“Stopped in today around 3pm…beat the dinner rush…got the Cod Fish Fry and an adult beverage…hard to tell from the outside but a very spacious yet quaint place…sat at the bar met Tim and throughly enjoyed my experience…would definitely recommend…sorry I couldn’t give a beauty shot but I was hungry…“

“Hands down one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Got the Archie signature burger and zero complaints. Was a bit bummed they ran out of fries but that was because the place was so busy from all the great reviews. (Good problem to have I guess). Nice work guys, I'll be back.“

“A neighborhood bar that tries and comes out on top. Other bars just exist but this place keeps it going.. Its got great food and Pool tables and more than just the water'd beer and rail shots behind the bar. Cider and seltser selection is a little different too“
“My neighborhood "cheers". I moved to the area 2yrs ago, and I just started visiting this place in the summer. I like it here. There's always good vibes. Sarah and Dawn are awesome! Sarah makes the best wings and they have a nice variety of flavors! The drinks are well made, and the prices are affordable. It's a nice place for a quick bite to eat and a drink after work. Game days are always a go!“

“I was lucky enough to be invited to The Brass Tap to try their fish fry, and they did not disappoint. I didn’t go the traditional route and opted for the cod bake instead, which turned out to be really good. That alone would have been enough, but the homemade tater tots were absolutely out of this world. Pair all of that with their huge selection of beer, and you’ve got yourself one fine evening from start to finish.“
“Great drinks. I really enjoy the pool table, the dart games, the gambling machines, and the location ever since the bridge is finally open.
Parking: I park right next to the side by the bank or right in front of it because it is an awesome bar for parties, holidays, etc.“

“The original staff (Monique) was awesome! But I offered to buy the next round for the bar (6-10 people) and the old dude bartender refused to break out the total he offered me on the receipt...I suspect he gave himself too much of my money. Other than that conflict, it was a good experience.“
