I have been to Backstreet quite a bit over the last 40 years I lived in Waukesha. Always pretty steady with good drinks, food and service. Their Friday fish options really cannot be matched in the area with both baked and fried and I've never had one I didn't like. I had to give a review as last Friday night we went with friends and for some reason, there was a mix up and the other 5 at the table got their food and mine didn't come. It was noticed right away and immediately I had one of the owners come and apologize and even offer me soup while I waited. It did take a little bit but what made it right for me was that she checked in yet again and our server came over as well and owned the fact that he had made a mistake. What impressed me was the fact that it was important to them to make it right. In a world where so many could care less, make excuses or just plain not acknowledge, I appreciate those who will just look you in the eye, speak the truth and apologize. It was a busy night, waiters were hopping and I appreciate what they do when I know they are putting all they have into it. I felt like I had the best dinner... No corners cut, hot and made to perfection!

A great hidden gem in Waukesha. Brandy's the best!Great food and very attentive service. Only issue is that it needs to be bigger to accommodate everybody that wants to go there! I can only imagine how busy it would be in a better location!

I've always had a good time here. Food is tasty, bartenders are friendly and attentive and the crowd has always been good. I do miss going for bingo night. ... just a change in my schedule.
Went there after a funeral with over 30 people. They accommodated the group, made us feel special, made 10 large pizzas, and made sure everyone's drink was full! Food was great and staff was amazing!
Nice, local bar. Bar area is open and a fair amount of tvs to watch games. I hear their wings are great, but I haven't tried them yet. Maybe next time?

The food was awful. Undercooked, not warm, not fresh. We left a great deal of food on our plates when we leaving and had to eat when we went home. We ordered a variety of menu items and all but o e of the five meals were desirable. Very disappointing. Our server was pleasant and good. I would never recommend this place.

The BLT isn't worth $4, much less menu price.Certainly wasn't worth the price. Only thing I've had here thus far.Edit: I've seen three year olds put together a more solid sandwich. Two small pieces of bacon. This sandwich sucks, avoid.

This place is pretty awesome, to be honest. Our waiter, Mitch, was super friendly and I really liked him. I was surprised to see a Friday menu that is ONLY fish and a few appetizers. The fish was crispy with a light breading. The sour cream and chive fries were excellent. The coleslaw is amazing! Also, I started eating before I took the picture, so don't judge the plate specifically from the picture. :)
