“Went this past Friday (1/19/24) for the first time. Absolutely amazing. Ordered samosas to start, and the pastry was flaky throughout with tender potato and peas seasoned beautifully. Ordered my normal first-time “test” entrees of butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and buttered naan. Chicken was fork-tender, the spice profile was perfect, and the traditionally clay-baked naan was amazing. Gulab jumun for dessert was the perfect size and not overly sweet. Will absolutely return, and recommend to everyone I know.”

“Fantastic food flavors and textures! Absolutely perfectly presented prime rib and scallops today. The risotto snob approved of the risotto. And the mango flavor with the shrimp was incredible. We ordered all of the desert selections and couldn’t decide if the lime pie or the crème brûlée won. But we finished every platter. You really can’t go wrong with any food here. Strongly highly completely recommend!!!”

“Went here for our anniversary. Had a wonderful time and our chef was very entertaining and humorous. Staff was very attentive and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The food was delicious, and the experience unforgettable. Prices were reasonable, and portions plentiful. Definitely coming back!”

“Had the Friday fish fry. Fish was crispy and flakey. It was all you could eat. Coleslaw tasted like it was made fresh. Marie was an attentive server. I'm a non-alcoholic drinker but my son had a Guinness. Swears it was good.”

“Food is always good. Service is a bit slow. Sometimes really good, sometimes a bit slow. Younger staff, so that says it all. But they are all very friendly and try very hard. We always go back. Wide open atmosphere, lots of room, can wait at the bar. Always call ahead of time or make a reservation.

Parking: Parking right in front of entrance. Can drop off AT the door, park, and come on in. Handicap spots are available.

Kid-friendliness: All the staff is extremely friendly.”

“Great little gem of Waukesha. Never had anything but phenomenal food here. Absolutely a must go. The steak is amazing, the chicken is amazing, the drinks are great, the fish fry is amazing.”

“One of our favorite places to go on the spur of the moment. Our server was the best last Friday. She noticed that we were celebrating a birthday and at the end of our excellent meal a slice of cake and lit candle were delivered soon a beautifully decorated plate. That’s customer service!”

“We had a cake created for my brother-in-law’s Celebration of Life gathering after the service. The 3 layer cake was the best cake, I have ever had!!! Several of our guests were asking what fabulous bakery created this wonderful cake. In fact, there were only 3 pieces left at the end of the event. “I love the Coffee Talk Bakery! The baked goods are always fresh and so delicious. The bathroom is huge, handicap accessible and always clean. The service is friendly, fast and efficient. the outdoor patio is so peaceful to sit in and enjoy a cup of coffee. The parking lot is well maintained and just had new very striaght lines put in. This hidden gem is a breath of fresh air after being in the city all day! I would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.”

“Tucked back into a corporate park, this place won't be noticed by far too many. But don't miss out! When entering, I was met with a kind woman who greeted and helped me to pick out what I'd like. I ended up with a raspberry Danish and a caramel latte. Both were fantastic, and the Danish was one of the best I've had. I was able to sit and catch up on things so I opened the lid to let it cool off and even though it would be hidden to most, the caramel and foam were well placed on top. It looks like there's a private room for wedding cake planning as well as some grab and go items. 5 stars, very happy and will be back!”

“Went here for the first time for lunch and came away quite pleased. The service is good and the food was good quality with very generous portions at a very reasonable price. The bill for the two of us for lunch was $27 and we both had part of our lunch to take with us. It’s an older diner that is antiquated but it’s clean and you can tell the staff take pride in their work.”

“We went to the one in Waukesha in Minooka Park as it had been moved from the Shoppes at Fox. Beer is always good, performer was good, didn't eat but I know food trucks almost always rock. Was disappointed to see so many young children at a tavern atmosphere. I'm no Karen ok, but kids do not need to be climbing and standing on bags games, tops of tables etc. I was surprised at that. I do recommend you go and drink here though as we will be back.”

“We used Periwinkle's Bakery for the dessert bar at our wedding on 9.9.2023 and I can say their desserts are a crowd pleaser!! Everyone loved the desserts and I loved how they cut them into half pieces rather than the whole piece. We had roughly 150 guests and we ordered 5 large platters and ended up with one extra platter by the end of the night so it worked out perfectly!”

“I cannot recommend Nadi Plates enough to absolutely everyone and anyone I know. I've gotten to know the owners and their entire team and they are such an amazing, caring, hard working group of people/family. Not to mention with AMAZING culinary skills - their food is absolutely fantastic and their quality is unmatched.

I am an active foodie in the Milwaukee scene and will save the dates that their food truck is near me. They continue to offer new and unique options that are always fresh, hot and delicious. Their food trucks have full kitchens that allow them to prepare and cook their food right on site which allows it to be a step above their competitors. Seriously cannot wait for them to expand so I can have their food more often.

From a catering standpoint, I've also had the pleasure of working with their team for multiple events/weddings and again, could not recommend them fast enough. They are extremely professional, a dream to work with and again, the food will knock your socks off. Their tasting experience is also out of this world. Being invited into the home of an Italian family and being served a wide variety of fresh and delicious foods? I could live there if they let me.

Also I just have to mention that their marketing, social media, and all of their branding is hilarious and spot on. I always look forward to seeing their content even if it makes my food brain go crazy with temptation.

“This is a taco truck that my hubby and I saw and decided to stop and try it out, first we tried the tacos de asada, pastor, lengua y cabeza which it only took one bite to know that this are some of the best tacos we’ve had in a very long time, then we ordered a quesadilla and a torta, the quesadilla de asada was super big with a home made corn tortilla also super delicious and the torta de asada was fantastic, and the people that work in the taco truck are super nice and friendly... over all a fantastic experience. It was a surprise party and we had 50 people in a private area of the bar, pizza and drinks were served. “First time in today, and just wow. Super friendly. I felt bad because I'm a dinosaur and only had a 50 on me and it didn't help their change situation, but we figured it out. Anyway, the food was absolutely incredible. Tried the Drunken Noodle w/Beef. I chose how spicy I liked it, and they were spot on. Maybe one of the best Asian noodle dishes I've ever had. Veggies on point, the steak was no stranger either. It was perfectly cooked, not all rubbery and weird, and a decent portion with the veggies. The sauce was there but didn't take over the other flavors that should be there still., and big ol fatty noodles make the dish hard to put down and take a breath. It was that good in my opinion. I'm no pro but am in the industry. Keep it up, and nice Subaru btw”

The ponza rottas were hot and delicious and enough for two meals. They include a very small container of sauce but I think for the size of the meal, needs at least two of those containers.”

“We were just at this store. Even though they were severely understaffed, they still kicked butt! The guy on drivethru, AJ had the headset on taking orders for drivethru, and manning the front counter! From what I could tell there was one guy back on fryers and cooking. There was nice lady named Jeanine (sp?) that made sure all the orders were going out correctly. I had ordered onion rings and they were so busy they forgot to put them down. She was honest with me and told me she would bring them out to me, and she did it herself. They got through all the customers and I didn't here any complaints from any of them. Thanks guys. Dinner was delicious.”

“This is the closest Starbucks to my home and is a regular stop for my afternoon Cold Brew. This is a relatively new store and the staff seems to rotate/change frequently, but I’ve enjoyed good service no matter who is on the afternoon shift. It’s difficult to get to this store, because it’s located on the SE side of a busy street, with no traffic lights to assist with the left turn. The most positive part of my regular visits here is that this location has the traditional Starbucks ice, not the new smaller, chewy ice that the company is putting into stores.

Parking: There is plenty of parking here, but most spots are at the opposite end of the building, closer to the ATT store.”

“HUGE shoutout to Jacob J. for being the guy who saved Qdoba from looking like the biggest clown show in town today. Apparently, all of the other staff decided to walkout leaving Jacob (who's only 17 by the way) alone to run the store. I'd be surprised if this is even legal seeing as how he's a minor. When I arrived, I was greeted by locked doors but Jacob ran to the door to explain. He could have waved me away or ignored me but he wanted to explain the situation and apologize. I'm honestly not sure why he was as apologetic as he was seeing as this isn't his fault at all and rather would appear to be the result of a completely incompetent management team. I hung around for a while and watched as Jacob continued to treat each and every customer with VIP service and made sure to not only explain but to apologize on behalf of the store for something he had nothing to do with. Class act through and through. THIS is the guy you want in charge of the store. 17 years old or not, he's proven he can do it. If not, at least give him a raise, corporate. He saved this store from looking absolutely ridiculous today. We need more people like Jacob in the world because he made my weekend.”

“I’ve been a fan of Magellans for a long time. I tell everyone to stop there for their pizza and long beer list. We celebrated my brothers 40th birthday there on Saturday and they were great! I messaged them through FB and Heather texted me about the reservation. It was so easy! I gave her the food orders in advanced and they had it all ready to go by the time we got there. Even had a friend show up and hour late and they had that in their notes so his pizza would not be cold. Heather asked if we wanted table cloths down for the party and I did decline. But it was a nice offer! We had a dedicated waitress that kept our drinks full and took a few photos of our group for us ( a couple of times lol) Highly recommend!”
