They could have better coffee....but the staff is great ;)

Lousy. Was once a Director in Jefferson County, from 2018-2019. The system falls over themselves arguing about how helpful they are. The opposite is true. The system argues how they will not treat you like a supervisor or micro-manage. The opposite is true. The head person has moved on and/or retired, and that’s for the best. Their high and mighty “APL” meetings only took place in Washington County, never in Jefferson County; Jefferson County was treated as an afterthought. Now, if the Assistant Head person also moved on or retires, that’d even be better.That stated, Shawn does outstanding work. Shawn is genuine, passionate about his work, and cares about the people he interacts with. Additionally, Shawn is professional, helpful, and a no-nonsense straight-shooter. Shawn will tell you what you need to know. He was my preferred contact person at Bridges. He is far and away their best employee.

I'm a library director in Waukesha County and the Bridges Library System staff are an amazing resource for my library. Great guidance about best practices, innovative ideas, and always willing to lend a hand or ear! Very lucky to have them support our libraries and communities! Thanks Bridges!

An excellent group of librarians and professionals endeavoring to make materials available to the residents of Jefferson and Waukesha counties. They use tax dollars effectively and efficiently and they should be supported for all the good they do in our communities. Bravo!

The Bridges Library System makes a difference in Wisconsin. The staff goes above and beyond to support, lead, and collaborate with the public libraries in both Waukesha County and Jefferson County.

Being part of the Bridges library system has given our library users such a wide range of materials and services to choose from. This includes access to Consumer Reports online, FREE continuing education and adult education classes through Gale Courses, access to interview coaches, resume editors and lots of great job hunting assistance through JobNow and so much more! They also provide excellent service to library staff through training opportunities, marketing support and technical assistance.

It's wonderful to know that our local libraries are in such great hands. The staff at Bridges are knowledgeable, responsive and LOVE libraries!! Thank you for your support.

The Bridges Library System is the BEST system in Wisconsin. The staff is AMAZING and they do so much to help the libraries in both Waukesha County and Jefferson County meet the continuously changing needs of our communities.
