1st time in 2 years after it was sold. Had more lunch business back then. Food is just ok nothing special. Meal for 2 is $22. The building is off the beaten path. Might improve if custard is good. Miss the old place when I worked near by.

I give businesses a break because most of them are having staffing issues exacerbated by poor management practices. Having gone to Buddy’s for the first time to try a small burger and a hotdog, I expected a wait at the drive-thru which was 15+ minutes. I didn’t expect to be handed cold food that I had to take home to warm up. With busy staff just steps away, no one could take 30 seconds to complete my order while the food was hot. That’s insulting to a guest that patiently waited while people behind drove off. Staff was apologetic and gave me coupons which I won’t be using because the food was average. Normal practice is to shut down a drive-thru that you can’t staff or take a few seconds to explain that service may take up to ten minutes so guests can decide what they want to do. It’s better to limit services or hours rather than function poorly. But there’s never any excuse for giving a guest a cold burger and hotdog. Cold custard is fine.

Milkshake made me sick. I went there during the week on lunch - the first red flag should have been that no one was in line in the drive thru or parked in the lot. Ordered a strawberry shake. $6 for a reasonably small shake seemed a little more than I should have to pay. It tasted good. However, I become horribly ill after ingesting it.

Lovely little burger diner. Food was hot and tasty. I really enjoyed the cheese curds. The custard was very tasty too. Seating was limited and decorations were retro diner style. Has a drive thru. This place is hard to find, it is hidden behind some retail/office spaces and access is through their parking lot.

Vegetarian options: Did not see vegetarian options on offer.

Wheelchair accessibility: One level, all seating is table and chairs with lots of room in the center of the eating space to rearrange to accommodate a wheelchair.

AMAZING Chicago dog!! Went to Buddy’s Burgers for the first time today and it was excellent. The hot dogs were big and juicy, grilled on the flat top with fresh toppings. Plus, we got the order to-go, which made me worried about the dog getting soggy and breaking by the time we got home. Thanks to their packaging, the integrity of the dog remained perfectly! Also, I recommend ordering a specialty custard bowl as a shake…holy moly, the angels sung when I took a sip. Thanks Buddy’s!!

Buddy's is my new go to place. Tonight was my 1st time there and you really get your money's worth. I had a burger with the works and an order of fries with a drink. Best fries I've ever had from anywhere Burger was a good size and soooo good.So happy I tried this place!!!

Came on a Wednesday night and it wasn’t very busy. We got burgers with fries and cheese curds. They were amazing! The cheese curds were REAL cheese and soooo salty, delicious. The food came up fast. We ended with some custard and a shake. I was delightfully surprised at how large the portion size was. I got a single scoop of vanilla with marshmallow and raspberry. The shake was KitKats and marshmallow in vanilla. Both were phenomenal. You should really try this place out!!

Stopped for a few sandwiches and sides. Food was good, made fresh as they claim. Staff missed our order of fries and I didn't realize until we got home. I watched the handoff between kitchen staff and drive-thru person and neither checked the order for accuracy. To me, that's a training issue. Someone needs to train order verification in the process. Good food, you're making progress.

I'm so excited about this new custard place! They are priced similar to any other and their food is really good. But holy cow their cheese curds!! These are one of the top cheese curds for me they are seasoned and the perfect fried crunch. We will be stopping by again.

Stopped in for just a shake but had to try the cheese curds. Both were amazing! Shake was a good size but you get a lot of curds for the price. They came hot and fresh. Light batter with parmesan in the batter. Ranch dressing on side. Would definitely recommend

Overpriced and not really great custard. Need to pay extra for flavor of the day. What is the point of flavor of the day if you're going to c charge more because of the "extras". The chocolate custard was Chalky flavored and we ended up throwing it out

Solid food at a fair price. I would say I liked the fries more so than the cheeseburger, which was still fine. Great if you're in the immediate neighborhood; not worth going 10 miles out of your way though. I would also agree that I probably liked Murph's better. Rather slow for a Saturday evening. I was the only customer in there.

I went today for a single scoop of ice cream in a cone and when I got to the window it was an extra $1.80 because of something about an extra cost for "special extracts" in the flavors of the day. Ok. Sure. they charged $5.44 for a single Scoop in a waffle cone. The menu said it should have been about $3.65 with tax. I asked the kid at the window if having hidden price hikes pisses people off and he said that yep a lot of people drive off and say they're going to Culver's. The staff was friendly and the custard was delicious and I was served quickly because there was no one else in line while Culver's had cars lined up down the road, so there is that.

Just had the turtle sundae flavor. Not one fudge or nut. 100% vanilla only. Disappointed
