I met my current girlfriend at this location 18 years ago, and used to frequent here a lot before moving out of town. We stopped in after a concert in Milwaukee on Saturday and the food was honestly better than I remembered and we had a good conversation with the young man serving. If only Webbs could take root in Madison!

It wasn’t busy but somehow we ended up waiting a very long time for our food. The order was wrong (twice). Add this to the fact that one patron was hacking up a lung the entire time and another one was FACETIMING someone and using foul language around my kids Id say the atmosphere was poor.

I had the patty melt 2 of the smallest burgers side by side on a large rye toast. Could barely taste the burger but the grilled rye bread was good. I liked the French fries too.

Waiter was quiet at first but warmed up as we were friendly. It's been years since we've eaten there and we've missed it. Best chili, ever since my teen years. Now that's a LONG time. Fries better than that other place with the arches. We sure do miss George Webb's.

Went there for the first time this morning! It's open 24 hours which is a bonus. There was only one man working there and he did a great job! It's clear the other people in there were regulars by how comfortable they were with him and each other. I was sitting there thinking about who I could bring with me the next time I go! Not to mention the food was speedy, cooked perfectly, and delicious! (I had the omelet). Great place!

Why do I have to order a $3 drink with my "All American" breakfast on all of your sites? Doordash, Grubhub and EVEN your OWN web site? Additionally, when I called the Delafield store, I was told that I could either do pick up with a manual order, or would have to be subject to the drink charge. When I asked the gentleman to change the setting on DD/GH or your web site, he told me, "We literally have a sign that says if we change any settings, we will get fired." He also told me they don't even offer "to go" drinks.
Edit - and I really do appreciate this guys effort! He must have saved my number on caller ID. Called me back. Asked if I could order "Free water" as an option. I advised him it was not. Thanked him for the follow-up. He said he texted his manager about the problem.

Listen this place has probably been around as long as I have been and here’s what I’ll tell you .. it’s solid , always. I don’t care when you go, or which one you go to you know what your getting. It’s not elevated fare but what it is, is the late night greasy spoon you’re craving… it’s a solid lunch with your kids and there’s lots on the menu for them and you too. It’s exactly what you’re expecting because in all the years I’ve been eating here and sometimes it’s been YEARS in between, the food tastes exactly how I remembered it did. I had a hankering for the super george sandwich out of nowhere the other day and so I ordered one and it was everything I needed!
