The fish fry and patato pancakes were awesome!! Also the ramaki was great. I will recommend this to everyone.

Ww absolutely love the fish fry at Hickory Sticks! They have a family deal that works out perfect for two couples.....Their deck overlooking the golf course is so relaxing, and great to use when the weather is nice....The beer batter fish are nice sized pieces, and is plenty for the average person....Great choices for sides, including some amazing mashed potatoes, glazed carrots(My Favorite), and potato pancakes in addition to fries......Give it a try! One of my favorites in the area ..

We just returned from the Hickory Sticks Restaurant & had the Friday Fish Fry. It had to be among the BEST fish fry we have ever had! Both the cod & the beer batter fried were superb! The service was great, we DID have reservations, & our server was on top of it……we have never had such wonderful potato pancakes anywhere else, I promise….thanks for such an unforgettable meal!!

Food took a little while longer than usual to arrive at no fault of the server, but everything was delivered together, hot, fresh and delicious! Fish fry was awesome with the perfect balance of crispy crunchy outside, cooked to perfection... without it being too over or under done like happens with many other places.

Service was horrendous. We were seated for over 20 minutes before server came to say he'd be with us shortly. Another 15 minutes before he returned and restaurant wasn't very busy. Food was mediocre. Won't be returning.

Their fish fry is amazing. To the point I almost don't want to post about it because I don't want the place to get too crowded.

Friendly service, tasty drinks but the food was not good. My perch was like cardboard.

We always enjoy this restaurant and eat there often. Tonight at 4:30 the hostess asked if we had a reservation we said no. She told us okay but next time please make one because she has to redo her chart. Our server Brooke was amazing but watching the hostess eating her meal at the checking desk was not professional. We absolutely love the restaurant ?

Food is always good. Service is a bit slow. Sometimes really good, sometimes a bit slow. Younger staff, so that says it all. But they are all very friendly and try very hard. We always go back. Wide open atmosphere, lots of room, can wait at the bar. Always call ahead of time or make a reservation.

Parking: Parking right in front of entrance. Can drop off AT the door, park, and come on in. Handicap spots are available.

Kid-friendliness: All the staff is extremely friendly.

Loved everything about this restaurant. We had the family style fish fry, which was excellent. The fish was flaky with a crisp breading. The potato pancakes were very good. Coleslaw was good, but I would prefer a bowl of coleslaw rather than a little plastic cup. The carrots were very good too. I didn't try the special mashed potatoes, but I was told they were mushy but had a good flavor. The service was outstanding. We were not rushed.

Make reservations, this place you will want to be a regular stop. Best staff of any place I've been in SW Wisconsin.
