Was there yesterday for the first time and they weren't ready to open at 5:10 even tho they tell you to be there 20 mins early. Very unprofessional people. The one woman smelled of b.o. They had no food and no music was playing. 2 people run the whole thing and very unorganized. Won't be back

The drink selection and general instruction were stellar. The only ding is that there should be a lot more staff. Especially on a Saturday night.

Did 7 people for axe throwing in 2 lanes. Reserved online with half deposit of $105+tax as $30x7 is $210. Upon arriving I was charged a mandatory $45 gratuity and $240 for axe throwing and $12 in tax. So for 220.71 expected I now paid $297.72. This place is not worth that. 1 lane out of 3 had a good board in it. Kept hitting the split areas where it just falls out. Ripping us off for 77 is one thing but at least have there be good boards. I’ve been to a couple and this was the worse experience.Edit for response: 3/8/24 2 groups, one group of 4 and on group of 3 in 2 lanes at 915 but charges together on one card.

Over priced and LAUGHABLY disorganized. It costs $40 for a reservation, and that's IF the staff is even prepared in time for your arrival. Not to mention that despite having an online reservation, my time was screwed up (Scheduled for 8:30pm...but was told my reservation was at 10pm) due to the staff haphazardly writing all the reservations down in a notebook. Very smart...The staff are either incompetent, or under the influence, as every one we talked to was bewildered on how to charge two drinks on a single card. So we were charged for drinks AND our throwing time (which we hadn't even done yet) all on one tab. After waiting nearly 20 minutes after our wrongly scheduled reservation, one of the staff finally screamed across the bar to let everyone know they were ready for axe throwers. So we left.Absolute joke of a business. Get it together.

No food, but plenty of drinks. But let's be honest, that's not why you're here- it's Axe throwing! Really fun and throwing an axe is both easier and harder than you think. You'll get it effortlessly some times, then glitch hard for no reason. It's like golf for Vikings. One side note, it's in the basement of an office building, so it feels a bit secretive, which only adds to the fun.

I was a regular customer at the Brewcade in the same building, and same owner, as this for most of the time it was open, and I looked forward to going there every weekend. Ellen, the lead axe coach, would come and talk to me and convinced me to try axe throwing, and it is a lot of fun, and Ellen is amazing. The owners and employees treated me very well until the end of September, when they decided to replace the arcade with "Krazy Golf" and banned me from their Facebook page for saying I'd have to find something else to do in response to the removal of the games. The bartenders (especially Kris) also scolded me for daring to say anything about it too and told me the owners would tell me to get the hell out. I have never been to a business that treated their customers this way. There have also been several now-former employees who have told me that the owners treated them like garbage. It also sounds like the owners moved from a nice location to this and don't understand Waukesha AT ALL. You're in a college town. All your competition is open until 2 AM. I don't care if you don't want to deal with the late night crowd. And no real signage for Lumber Axe or advertising? Nobody knows you're there! Utter incompetence on all sides here.Do yourselves a favor and avoid this, Krazy Golf, and any other businesses owned by these people. They don't care about their employees or customers at all.

A few friends and I went off of a recommendation and thought it would be fun to go throw axes. My friend who had went before said you have to make a reservation(which it seems like you dont) so he reserved a hour and a half for 5 people. We figured make the reservation then all pay when we're done, turns out we were charged separately but then he was charged for the 5 people! The person who was running the axe throwing part of the bar was nice and friendly when it came to teaching us how to throw, but unfortunately didn't know how to ring people up and had us all pay multiple times cause they didn't know what they were doing. The food(appetizers) were amazing! But they would stop people with drinks from coming to the axe part from the bar when we had drinks we ordered from the axe person. Overall a fun time but they have some staff and guidance issues they need to work out. Honestly, I probably won't go back.

Respectfully. It is not even close to being worth the money in the new place. It's basically a sayna and its tiny. No alcohol selection. Hard to find and in some random office building. It was really fun in the last location and if it changes locations again I'd definitely be interested again. But 30 dollars a person is about 20 too much for what it is. The atmosphere is terrible right now. Although the lady behind the counter was Very nice

Current location is abysmal. No sign outside to indicate the business is even there. Men's bathroom ceiling leaks. Only one type of axe per lane, and just a standard target, no projections. For the cost compared to other locations, this should have been much better.
