Several years ago my brother and I failed to make Thanksgiving dinner plans for the 2 of us. We drove all around Waukesha looking for an open restaurant with lights on.We came upon Pat's and inquired if they were open. They were not, they were celebrating a private family meal. However, they invited my brother and I in, gave us "to go" containers and let us help ourselves to the buffet. Oh, and we got the most delicious peach cobbler too. It was a most interesting and heartwarming experience of community in Waukesha. The true meaning of Thanksgiving. ❤

Pat’s BBQ is different. It’s what every bbq restaurant should try to be.The ribs were succulent and rich; the sauce, potent and delicious.I thought it couldn’t get better until I reheated the sandwich I took home. Wow.The meat and sauce is what makes this restaurant the best bbq I’ve ever had.

LOVE this place. It's such a hole-in-the-wall treasure that has a dedicated following for a reason!! The owner works there whenever I come by and is very personable to every customer. The last time we came by it was 5-ish on Friday night and we waited for about 40 minutes for our to-go order but we didn't call ahead either.It sucks that they're only open 2 days a week but I think they're being smart about how much they're able to do with their current staffing numbers. My favorite sauces are for sure the Brown Brown and Special sauces, definitely give them a try.The building itself is missing business signs for each rental unit unfortunately but it is WORTH the search and they currently have a banner to help you find it. Can't wait to see how they grow their business!

I wish I could give this 5 stars because the food was delicious. HOWEVER, it was NOT worth almost an hour wait for to-go when they were not that busy. A bit over priced as well.

Maaan, that food is goooOOOD! Go get you some of that fried okra, and don't forget that catfish! Pulled pork is on point and the brisket is delish.

More expensive than I had anticipated. But over all it was good, the sauces and the sweet corn bites were exceptionally awesome! The meat was less flavorfull than I had hoped but otherwise it was a great experience. And the food came out so quick!
Can’t express how happy I am Pat’s is back Fridays and Saturdays 11-7PM! I have been waiting every day since they closed down to order again. My fiancé and I live right around the corner and we came right in once we drove past and saw the open sign was lit up. Food was as amazing as we remembered. Thank you so much! ❤️

First found this gem at the Milwaukee Public Market and was thrilled that I finally found brisket I could get excited about!! I did a search and found that they had another location a mile from our house in Waukesha. We are thrilled but they are only open on Friday and Saturday. They have wonderful Cod Fish, my favorite is the LEAN Brisket and we also love the coleslaw and sweet potato fries! If you have any questions and need to call - they also have the best customer service ever! This is the best place we have found for bbq!! Try it out! You can’t go wrong!

Whenever I visit Pat's, it's a treat for the palate. My absolute favorite from the menu is the Catfish and rib tips with Pat's Homemade Barbecue Apple chunk sauce. I always leave satisfied and the staff is very courteous, friendly and professional. The atmosphere definitely gives you that down home feeling with soft Blues playing in the background while you're enjoying your meal. I always look forward to my next visit. So excited for the Downtown Milwaukee location to open!

I would have given them 5 stars because the beef brisket dinner was awesome. Although the dessert was terrible. We ordered the peach cobbler with ice cream. It was salty and didn't even have peaches, but a peach syrup. When I complained I was informed that they buy their desserts from a bakery.
