Let’s start with 5 stars***** We visited Tally’s Tap on Wednesday October 8, 2025. This was our first visit. We spoke to a man on the way in, and he recommended the BBQ Ribs which was the ‘Homemade Dinner’ special - his name was Stan (a once a week regular). Inside we were promptly seated, and it was busy, with a full parking lot. Mike was our great waiter, and we also met Chad (another super friendly and knowledgeable waiter). I ordered a full rack of ribs, with Mac and cheese, fresh green beans, and corn bread for $24 (I think). Stan and Chad were right - the ribs were super tender, great BBQ sauce. I shared them with my husband and daughter and we all felt they were absolutely outstanding. Corn bread was very tasty as was the Mac and cheese. My husband ordered a wrap with grilled portobello, and a cilantro sauce - he said it was good. My daughter ordered a salad, with fried chicken sliced on top, and substituted the menu dressing for the green goddess. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was a lovely first visit, and we will be back! Thanks to the employees, and owners for making this such a great experience. By the way - I am very picky. I know good food because I worked in some great restaurants on the East Coast. It is tough to have me really love a meal - but you guys made that happen!
Huge plates of food. Their sign says they will feed you. That was spot on. Took home a lot of leftovers. Was a very pleasant pleasurable experience.

We are from out of town and decided to try somewhere local. Kendra was our server and i would 100% recommend asking for her. She was super personable and just very sweet. Hands down our favorite server we have ever had anywhere. 10/10.

Went for a fish fry and we had the beer battered cod. It was wonderful. Soup or salad is included with warm bread. So worth the money. Will definitely be going back

Only disappointing part was we got there at 6:30 on a Friday and they did not have any fish left. That was the reason we were going there. The food we did have was excellent

Tally's is a great local restaurant in Waukesha, WI. The food is consistently good, they've got a great beer selection including some craft beers, and they make a fine Bloody Mary! The service is great, too. My one complaint might be that the prices are a bit high for Waukesha.

The beer battered perch was outstanding along with the unique fries. The coleslaw unfortunately was not good. No one in our party liked it. Too much mustard, not a traditional mayonnaise recipe.

The fried perch, potato pancakes and fresh crisp salad were excellent! Filled me up! And at a very reasonable price!
My sister and I went for bingo Sunday and had a great time. The 2 bartenders were excellent. They were very engaging and attentive. Thank you ladies and Tally's Tap. Oh and we ordered the nachos, they were fantastic.
