Stopped by The Steaming Cup for coffee and breakfast on a recent Saturday morning. It's a super cute spot and the environment is pitch perfect and exactly what I love in a coffee shop (warm, welcoming, and a little quirky). The service was also lovely. I ordered one of their seasonal, specialty lattes. The espresso was a bit bitter and the latte it was not mixed so all of the flavoring was on the bottom (the same with my dining companion). We were both confused as it tasted like a plain latte until the last few sips which were sickly sweet. So, my recommendation would be if it tastes a bit off, maybe give it a stir. Would likely have changed the entire experience for us! The egg and cheese breakfast sandwich I got was a solid ok. It had lots of tomatoes and mayo--neither of which I'm a big fan of on a breakfast sandwich. Maybe we ordered a bit wrong? Will have to try again next time we're in the area.

I normally have a good experience here but today the side of fruit that came withy sandwich had a distinct taste of mold.I mentioned it to the workers but they seemed unconcerned....??

3.75 for arguably the worst coffee cake I’ve ever had. Prices raised a bunch which I guess is okay but Jesus Christ. I have been coming here for years and wish the staff made me feel like I could complain.

Actually can not coplain. It would have 5 stars all the way other than having to wait for the second coffee on the order and when they announced my name I went up to pick it up and it was so strong I couldn't drink it. It was ordered as mild.However the Cuban sandwich was delicious ?.

I love coming here. It’s a great atmosphere to meet up with a friend to chat, to read a book, to get some work done. I always try the monthly drinks and have yet to have one I didn’t like and the chai is superb! They even offer gluten free bread so I’ve been able to enjoy the sandwiches the rare occasions I’ve come in for good. Highly recommend stopping by, just know others love this place too so often most of the tables are already taken when I’ve come in the afternoon.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options
