Plastic silverware, paper plates! Flat soda. Over seasoned and overcooked food. The waitress was in the back most of the time besides to give us a bill. $34.70 for two people I would think provide real silverware. Best part about this meal was the fortune cookie! I am reminded why we drin 45 minutes away for chinese buffet. Yuck!

We took a chance coming to this place after the last review. We came in about an hour after they open for lunch there was barely any food, and the food that was there was sitting for quite some time. We did not know that they did not have regular silverware or cups or even plates. We were eating off of Dixie wear- the stuff that you use for picnics.The only thing that I really ate was the sweet-and-sour chicken and the orange chicken. When I started to bite into the sweet-and-sour chicken, I noticed that the meat was gray! I thought maybe I just got a bad piece so I waited until they brought fresh chicken out and every piece was dry and the meat was still gray.

The man was so rude over 1. my card being declined online and when he called 2.he end up hanging up on. Was on my way there so I still went and him and the lady were (3.)so rude told me I gave them a bad review which is one of the reasons (4.)he was going push me out the door. I will never go back. And PS sir Chinese food man here is my first review!
I got mixed feedback regarding this place and hardly anyone was there during lunch. I had to check it out for myself. I loved it. We had plenty to eat from lots of choices. The server on was constantly busy always doing something. She never sat around on her phone like I've seen at other places. I'm on a restricted diet and I found plenty of food to fill me up. I did think it was a little pricey for a lunch buffet but what restaurant isn't expensive these days.

Look, it's a small town. I get it. I miss the foods in Chicago. No where close around has that atmosphere. I normally order Chef Chu's because of the ratings. Finally tried this little dive and the food was pretty darn good. Crispy, hot, fresh. The place isn't much to look at. It's clean and basic. The lady is really kind and helpful. That goes a long way in today's standards. This will be my go to food craving place close to home.

Used to visit pre-covid and it was good, went today and it was awful, food was not fresh,some things were overcooked and dry. We don't plan on ever returning,much better food down the road at Chef Chu's.
