Had a wonderful experience. Went for the fish fry. Be prepared to wait if you don't get there early, it is a bit small with limited seating. It was definitely worth the wait. I had the haddock which was delicious along with the baby reds. Our waitress Erin was busting her tail the entire time yet found time to be personable with us. Hat's off to this young lady who looked like a pole position driver negotiating the traffic cones as some of the customers decided it would be ok to place chairs on the ends of table plugging up the isles. The drinks were typical Wisco small bar drinks, plenty of booze and not watered down with soda or ice. All in all great experience. We will be back.
We visited this Waupaca treasure for a second time October 4 and just like the first time it didn't disappoint. My wife and I both had the hamburger specials and they were delicious. We plan on going back tomorrow for their fish fry which we had on our first visit. Also I'd like to call out the young waitress who served us (sorry that I didn't get her name). So pleasant and cheerful who did a fantastic job. There are a lot of people in the service industry who could take a lesson or two from her. Great job.

Hometown bar setting, very friendly, excellent service. Had perch with red potatoes! Great. And grilled shrimp skewers, also very good!

Was very busy, as there was quite a crowd for their friday fish, but server was very sweet and kind.. The serving was just right and delicious!
