New Management has no idea how to run a campground or a bar. Just bad attitudes, and ridiculous prices on food. We will never be back.

Friday night fish fry with a couple of New Glarius Spotted Cow ales. Doesn't get much better than that! Try the walleye and perch!

The server was friendly and promptly with our drinks and food. They checked in multiple times, which I appreciate. Food was good. It was hot and prepared nicely.

My wife and I had the Friday night fish fry. The wife had baked haddock and I had the perch. It was delicious just like it used to be 3-4 years ago. So glad they went back to the old recipes. Our waitress was just a charm. We will becoming back.

My husband and I stopped for dinner. We were sitting at a table for over 10 minutes before someone even looked at us. Ordered our drinks (I didn’t even get the right drink I ordered) and my husband ordered his food. I couldn’t eat anything on the menu. So I just had the salad bar. We walked up to the salad bar. There was literally enough salad left for us each to have a dessert plate size salad, my husband went and told someone that the salad bar was basically empty. Everything on the salad bar was warm. It didn’t get refilled until he was just about done with his food. His fish was burnt and his baked potato was hard. We will never be coming back here again.

I have been coming to Rustic Woods since February and I've always had amazing service. Although this weekend was very different. The older woman who was working didn't acknowledge me for 13 minutes. And there was only 7 other people in the bar. Took an extra 5 minutes for the drink. Which was a jack and coke and the woman didn't even know what a jack and coke was? God, I'm sure I can account for everyone when I say, I'm gonna miss that little red head. So personable, attentive and always had my drink ready before I sat at the bar asking about my day. In addition the food was atrocious. They were out of half the menu. The food took way too long for what I ordered and for how many people were in this bar. The fries came out ice cold! What a shame. I loved coming to this bar. I would stay for hours, until nearly bar close. I don't know if I can recommend this bar, or campground to anyone anymore. It just continues to go downhill with every new owner.
