The Danes Hall is a wonderful asset to Waupaca's downtown. Everyone should go there! Myself and a fried actually mistakenly crashed a wedding their. There were only two men from the wedding party left in the bar and they gave us permission. It was a great night. The bartender was super friendly. It's a beautiful place.

Had lunch with some ladies on a Monday around noon. The place was very busy but we didn't wait very long for our order. The portions are very hearty! My Rue en sandwich was delicious. There are plenty of windows and comfortable chairs. All in all I very much enjoyed my visit.
Breakfast is the best in town! I always have extra to bring home.

We headed here on a very rainy morning while camping. It was busy and only got busier as the rain continued to fall. Staff seemed completely unfazed by the crowds and were attentive and friendly. Let’s talk about food. Everything was delicious and portions were ginormous! This ended up being a great way to salvage a rainy morning and a great start to our camping trip.
Fireplace is a nice touch, makes you feel like your getting a meal mom use to make!

Had a great visit with my family here today at The Wood in Waupaca, especially due to our phenomenal waitress Veronica. I work in the food industry as well and see a lot of people come and go, she should go a long way if she keeps up the way she is. Truly fantastic meal and a great atmosphere, very comfy and welcoming. The service overall was very good, they were a little late getting us in and felt it necessary to give us a cinnamon roll for the table on the house as compensation, truly perfect service. I met the owner who was also very kind and welcoming, would recommend The Woods for anyone wanting a hefty helping of breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Amazing breakfast! So many omelet & scramble options to choose from. Lots of creative dishes, I got the Club Scramble & hubby had the Irish Scramble, he was so happy to see they offered orange marmalade for the toast. We also split a blueberry pancake that was HUGE. Big portions of everything, so a to-go box was a must. Great value, service & atmosphere. I'm very happy to add my own 5 star review to the many, many that they already have.
