The food is phenomenal. The menu is full of strong-and-steady favorites with a pop of creativity and flavor. The food and the specials are always fun, fresh and seasonally on point. The baked goods both beautiful and delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is one of (if not THE) best breakfast restaurants in Wausau!

Absolutely excellent food as always and very friendly staff. However, service was beyond slow. We saw table after table receiving their food prior to us; and our order was placed as soon as we sat down at our table and prior to them sitting at their table. 10 minutes for our cup of soup and 45 minutes for my Cobb salad and his Philly cheese steak sandwich. I know you can do better. We will be back; but it may be awhile. Our budget doesn't allow many meals out. Our treat to ourselves today was a little sad.

Stopped by here after flying in before heading up to Rhinelander. The inside is very cute and service is quick and friendly. I ordered a pecan sticky bun and a breakfast quesadilla. The sticky bun was outstanding and the quesadilla was packed with flavor. This was the perfect breakfast stop!

Hands down, the best "diner" in Wausau. Gets a bit crazy busy, since it is a small place, but well worth a short wait. Service can take a while, but they have an awesome "stop light" to alert you when they are very busy. Really amazing food. The wheat toast is incredible and the second best omelet I have ever had. The breakfast quesadilla is fantastic. And, whatever you have, get something with Hollandaise. They make it from scratch and it is terrific (and I don't even like Hollandaise sauce). All in all, one of our favorite places to eat in Wausau.

My husband and I stopped here on our way through town on a day trip! Worth the stop... amazing food! The staff was super busy but still did their best to be attentive. Seemed they could use another server or two. They were busy and for good reason.

This is my second time eating here; I loved it so much that our next multi-day visit to Granite Peak had to include this place. Nice interior, not large but people are spread out. The Food: I love their signature skillet (House Skillet) so much I had it again. Large portions of food (I ate half) and I love their coffee. My son had Garlic Cheddar Biscuits and Gravy, and my wife had their Chorizo Skillet. Everyone loved their food! Service is great! We will return next time!

This place. It made me want to move to Wausau. I never have difficulty choosing but this morning I wished for 4 stomachs. And the service... warm and helpful. Around when you needed them and gone when you wanted to lick your plate clean without an audience.
