Amazing food and service! Just traveling through and was looking for a place to eat and happened to see on TikTok. Definitely with the drive off the beaten path! Will be back if we are ever back in the area!

The prime rib is the best here at A & A. Better than some of the local supper clubs. The service is top notch friendly and knowledgeable. The soups are homemade and delicious. Rice pudding with raisins also homemade. If your in Wausau or traveling thru town A & A is a must stopping point for great food anytime of the day.
With a friend. Waitress was friendly and food came out within 15 minutes. Mom-and-pop atmosphere with a lot of older people. Went for lunch. Waffle fries were so crispy and delicious. Got the Green Olive Burger (was expecting a literal olive spread - like a tapenade) but the olive was in a savory-salty white sauce (mayo-esque). Very juicy and delicious even on gluten-free bun. Able to put the leftovers in a to-go box. Seating was spaced out enough that felt cozy but not cramped. Homey atmosphere.

I wouldn't say I disliked it just that there's so many other places that serve exactly the same food but at a better price, that it makes this place a let down. Maybe try some locally sourced fish, elk and other wild game in place of the basic beef, pork and poultry that customers can find literally everywhere.

Our 2nd visit, and for sure, not our last! Veggie Pizza again, absolutely a fabulous flavor explosion! The veggies pop, the sauce and cheese are 2nd to none, and the crust is a golden puff of goodness! Tried the clam chowder and it was creamy and delicious with tender clams and taters. Looking forward to visit three - go get you some!
