Love their food. Flavors are big, bold, and delicious. The community is lucky to have a place like Taste of Jamaica offer authentic Caribbean options.

The j*** chicken wings and fried plantains were phenomenal. The j*** chicken wings were crispy, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of spice. I have never had plantains before and they were a pleasant surprise. The customer service is amazing and the staff are very nice. If your thinking about trying A Taste of Jamaica I would definitely go for it!

Amazing food! I am very particular when it comes to food and this place totally met my standards ;). I had never had Jamaican food before (and who knew you'd find it in Wausau!?) but I definitely would say the j*** chicken sandwich was spiced so well and the sauce on there was so delicious. The chicken was moist and tender. I am planning to return!!

A bit hard to find, the young lady on the phone gave us good directions. It's just a bit out of the way. And worth looking for! Food and service are top notch! We met the owner, unfortunately I don't know her name. What a wonderful person! She totally explained how to make j*** chicken correctly! Who does that? You really need to go and try it. Outstandingly good food, Outstandingly good people.

Attended a hands-on cooking experience tonight and everything was amazing. Food was full of flavor but my favorite part was meeting and getting to know Janice. What an amazing woman and business owner!

Janice is wonderful and you have to have her AaaaaMazing food! It’s a little tricky to find so I left pictures what to look for at the West entrance of the UW Wausau campus.

The j*** chicken is amazing! Very moist, with an amazing spice blend. It is a warm spice.....definitely authentic. The pineapple salsa is soooo flavorful. I can't wait to try other menu items. It is obvious that there is alot of attention to detail. Highly recommend! Owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable!

Brittany was amazing. Came in a little late and she stayed after to still deliver amazing service. I appreciate the staff here they are absolutely wonderful, and the food is amazing!10/10. Located inside the UWSP campus.
