Very Disappointed in Applebees since partnership with IHop, before we always had wonderful service and great food. Today I put in a curbside order to be ready for 6:09pm I got the 2 for 25 (thé appetizer was spinach and artichoke dip) with some upgrades and a sample platter. I got there a few minutes before and didn’t mind waiting however it became 6:25 and I got a little impatient so we decided to go in and ask i understand things can get busy but the service we were met with was HORRENDOUS. I didn’t catch the workers name but she was skinny, short, and had white/blonde hair probably 18-25 age range the attitude she had was so unprofessional but we did finally receive our food. Upon arriving home I opened up the bag to eat and had to double take the receipt to make sure we had the right order, we did but a few things were mixed up I should’ve had 2 spinach and artichoke dips, the mozzarella sticks were missing, I had a full sized boneless chicken order and i asked for no mushrooms on my chicken and shrimp dinner however mushrooms were in my container. I have the receipt and my order is correct on there.

WHAT'S_GOING_ON?!
It was a complete disappointment. We went as a group to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had made reservations in advance. At the time of booking, we informed the restaurant that it was a birthday celebration and specifically requested that “Happy Birthday” be sung as a surprise. I was told this would not be a problem.
However, when we arrived, things felt disorganized, and it was clear that nothing had been communicated to the staff. While we were seated at the table, a staff member approached and bluntly stated, “We don’t sing Happy Birthday anymore.” This was incredibly frustrating, especially since I had already spoken directly with the manager, Jordan, and everything had been confirmed. Having a random employee announce this at the table was rude and completely ruined the surprise we had planned.
Shortly after, another staff member came to the table and said, “Yeah, we do still sing Happy Birthday,” then looked directly at the birthday girl and asked if she wanted them to sing—while loudly smacking gum. By that point, the moment had already been ruined. The entire interaction was unprofessional and uncomfortable, almost like a scene from a movie where a miserable server makes everyone else miserable too.
To make matters worse, several of us experienced severe stomach issues for two days afterward. I ordered the 2-for-$25 meal with steak, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. The steak was not right at all—I couldn’t even eat half of it.
Overall, the experience was frustrating, disappointing, and far from what we expected for a birthday celebration.

We had a server we barely saw and not attentive. Then we ordered breakfast food ever since they combined Applebees and IHOP, the breakfast sucks. Applebees can’t do breakfast!!!!

The food is always ok. Fries are always cold and honestly so was the rest of the food especially the pasta. I also asked for extra sauce and there was none. The main thing for my 3 star for the food was the Chicken Wonton Tacos, the shells were not normally how they are supposed to be, there was hardly any chicken or slaw in the tacos. The service was great! Please do better with the temperature of the food and the food quality.

I recently ordered to go from Wausau Applebee's. The portion sizes are significantly less than when dining in and charging the same price. $20 for a few cups of noodles is ridiculous. Won't be doing this again that's for sure. Edit: The survey linked below by Applebee's is broken and will not allow me past the Calendar option. If you would like to try again, let me know. Thanks!

This once glorious and heavenly establishment has become even less than a husk of itself. Me and my party came into our former safe-haven expecting the same as usual, but with an ihop addition, however in the last few months since we've been here last the apple of my eye has REMOVED HALF APPS. WHAT. WHAT. WHY WOULD ANYONE COME HERE OTHER THAN HALF APPS. I assume corporate is behind this and I can only assume they want their business dead. there was not NEARLY the same number of people here than there would be a year ago. it makes me sick. also half the photos inside are AI generated
