Season was our waitress. Friendly service and great recommendations. Had the fish tacos. They were flavorful and portions were perfect. The others dining with me had quesadillas which they said were also good.

I thought the food sucked there was so much lettuce and the toco fell apart when trying to pick it up. The burrito shell was really hard on the outside of it. The beans had no flavor at all. The waiter I felt was rude to us. So if you're asking if I will come back the answer is NO been there 6 to 10 times and hoping it would be better but same thing. I just moved here from PA and this food doesn't cut it.

One of my more favorite Wisconsin bars to walk into in recent years. Just outside of Wausau as the country starts. Just looks and feels right inside and very much more your dad's bar than a modern a bar. Food is ok but if you like a lot, you'll get it.

Mexican? Probably the blandest chimichanga I've ever seen. They tried overcompensating with the extra cheese. Margaritas were pretty decent. They didn't have the deep fried ice cream but the chimi cheesecake was really good. Way way too much tomato juice on the rice. Not terribly pricey but with a few drinks was a little expensive.

Chicos has been and always will be a 5 star stop, growing up around the area, I've had family come here for decades and it really hasn't changed one bit! Heidi really takes honor in serving some kickass food here. Things to know: - it's a supper club type vibe, the food takes awhile specifically if you order Mexican... but that's because it's made fresh - you can bring kids but there isn't much here to entertain them. - the drinks are amazing, anything from a whiskey sweet old fashioned to a blended raspberry margarita will be just what you ask for, perfect - Chimichangas are their go to menu item, but don't shy away from their amazing steaks or their fish fry(no one believes me when I say their fish fry is amazing, you have to try it!) There's nothing really that bad to say about Chicos, from the bartenders like Chris, to the amazing servers like Joe and Lori will take care of you.

If I could give this a negative star I would. The whole experience was terrible. We came in with 3 kids and we got there at 620. We looked for a spot to sit because there was no one in sight. I finally found someone and it was a young girl she looked higher than a kite and said she couldn't help us. 5 minster someone finally came to seat us. Our server took over 10 mins to get to the table let alone drinks. It took over another 20 to order and there were only 3 other tables and 2 servers. The food was absolutely horrible. It was so blan she charged us for salsa and for lettuce on our food. She also charged for rice beans and she charged us for the chips she said were free for the weight. It took over 45 mins. For the food and part of it was cold. When then had to leave before half of us could even eat because of how long they took. We finally left after 830. With empty stomachs over a 100 dollar bill and very sad kids. Remind you all we had was a kids corn dogs kids quesidilla a chimichanga and burrito and our bill was over $90.

This place deserves zero stars! My husband, son, and I stopped in tonight for dinner. We live in the area, have never been there and wanted to try someplace new. We stood at the bar for about 5 min, there were 2 other couples at the bar. The bartender never even looked at us. The waitress walked past us twice without even acknowledging we were there. Another couple walked in, walked right up to the bar and was served immediately. After about 7-8 minutes has passed the waitress condescendingly throws her hands in the air and says "do you need something"? My husband explained that we were waiting for a table but nobody noticed us. She then threw her hands in the air again and said "What do you need? Do you need to eat??" as she makes a "shoving food into her mouth with a fork" motion. "No- no, we don't. We will take our business elsewhere". As we were walking out I turned around and saw the waitress mocking us. I have NEVER been treated this poorly. No wonder this place is for sale and going out of business. I expect piss poor customer service this day in age but this takes the cake.
