Chipotle Mexican Grill

Online order. They ran out of guacamole. I asked if they would be removing the charge from our order and they said to go to the app instead of just taking care of that for me. $9 and I have to go deal with the customer service app to get it take off. She could have just given me a cash refund for the guac charge. I ordered double meat on one item but it hardly looked like even what I would expect for a single serving. Food was cold. Won't be back.

Update 1 day later: submitted feedback on the survey, on customer service form on the website, and this review. Still haven't heard anything about a refund for my $9 guac charge.

Update 3 days later: CS finally got back to me and they gave me two free guac sides coupons (when I paid for 3) and want me to spend more money with them instead of just giving me a refund like they should have done when I picked up my order

First and last trip to Chipotle. $14.46 for basically a bowl of rice, 2 tablespoons of chicken, 3 tablespoons black beans.. $2.98 for a spoonful of avocado was totally laughable. Their concept, cost, flavor spectrum just doesn't bring people back. One and done. Small amount of meat. I mean this place is and absolute joke. The food was blah.. the price insane for what you're getting. I am stunned that there is a literally following. I would never come back.

The food is always good, but the restaurant needs to put some focus in cleaning. The line is always filled with food pieces that fall out of the bowls, and they let it sit there. I understand they are busy, but it takes 5 seconds to wipe the line down.

Love Chipotle but I don't even know where to start with this one. Gave it a few tries at this new location but honestly maybe the worst restaurant I've been to in 20 years.

Place is an absolute mess. I watched management sit and do bookwork and interviews while drinking starbucks meanwhile all hell was breaking loose in the kitchen. Food on every empty table, garbage cans overflowing, out of so many ingredients my burrito was unbuildable on 2 visits. I got food poisoning so bad after my last visit. Truly hope they get their act together but it will be a very very long time before I brave this location again.

I think we were all excited when we heard they were building a chipotle in Wausau. What we got, was not a chipotle. Someone from corporate should come take a look at this place. 0-2 with my orders so far. 1st order was missing the $8 queso to go with the chips. What did they do, just gave me a coupon for a free chips and queso (which they only let you use 1 coupon per order so that’s worthless). 2nd order, took them 35 min to complete, burritos were cold, and both burritos were missing the quac we paid extra for. What did they do this time? Offered me a free drink coupon lol. There won’t be a 3rd order. This place is super mismanaged.

Could probably use a little more staff, but observed good teamwork with the staff working today. Good communication, and provided an accurate wait for a food item I needed to wait for. Got the quality food I expect from a Chipotle.

Dirty place. Long crazy hair on cook. No hair net! Veggie burrito, only had lettuce & tomato for veggies. Asked for what was on the picture advertising Carne Asada Bowl. Had to walk them through what to put on it. Then charged extra for the guacamole. Never again! Not worth it!

The Carne Asada meat was not tender at all and 3/4 of it was un chewable due to all the rubbery tendens in it. For the money we spent I'll never eat here again.

I placed an order online and pre paid at 10:13 (they close at 11). I was told it would not be ready until 10:40. When I got there at 10:36 the food wasn't even started yet. The staff was incredibly rude and snarky when greeting me and even scoffed at me when I was just trying to grab a drink. They were out of every protein but chicken which was not what I ordered. Not a problem except the meat I chose was an upcharge. I was not refunded that money at all when I got chicken instead. In addition to that they also did not put guacamole in my bowl which was another $2 upcharge. Food was cold and my bowl was underfilled. Chipotle is usually my go to but this location is truly the worst.

Ordered the carne asada bowl. The entire bowl was cold, steak was cut way to thick to be tender. Wouldn't order ahainn

Food was ok at best. But everything was low or out of stock. Had to wait for more rice to be made. Wife couldn't get vegetables because they ran out. There was no drinks they were out of stock. Service was very slow. They charge extra for everything. Quaso sauce on your taco extra $2.85. guacamole extra $2.85. chips extra.$4. super expensive for mediocre food. Tables were all dirty. Should shut down and put in a qudoba. I will give credit to the two male employees that were busting their butts. While the other employees looked lost.
