Era Cafe is a standout gem in the Rib Mountain breakfast scene. While their menu is full of excellent breakfast and brunch options, their Latin-inspired dishes are especially impressive. The breakfast potatoes are hands-down the best I've ever had, and they’re the only place in the area that truly nails breakfast chorizo — flavorful, balanced, and cooked just right. Wausau has no shortage of breakfast spots, but Era Cafe is the first one that’s truly hit the mark for me. Highly recommended.

This place cooks! Food is well seasoned, nice presentation. Everything is tasting very good. We had a breakfast burrito and chicken wrap. The server brought both Nashville hot and Boom Boom sauce. Both excellent! Great place to stop at.

A gem of a restaurant, very easy to get to. Food was amazing. I had the blueberry cheesecake pancake AND bacon avocado eggs benedict. Topped off with fresh squeezed orange juice, it will be hard to top this restaurant.

Excellent customer service. Waitperson was very attentive. Delicious decaf and regular coffee. The pancakes were delicious and huge! The French Toast was very good. Nice, warm maple syrup is served. Breakfast is served all day. Pancakes. Waffles, Crepes, omelets, oatmeal, etc. Gluten free options available. Highly recommend.
