We moved to Wausau about 6 months ago and found Hiawatha during football season. Great crowd and really awesome staff and a ton of fun!!!

Hands down Best Reuben I've had in the area! I love trying the Reuban when I see it on the menu. If I stop in a place I've never been and see it on the menu it's my go to menu item. I was at the Hia the other day and Chris the owner let me know they had a new menu item and mentioned it was a Reuban, WOW! Awesome Job! Too many places say they have a Reuban and its a poor version of what someone would mistake for a Reuban...Not this one. From the bread , too the sauerkraut and sauce, and the perfectly smoked and generous portion of chipped beef. Unlike thinly sliced meager portions this samich' delivers! 10/10 would absolutely order again.

Fun place. Great staff. Friendly and quick service. Food was typical bar food, and it was good. Prices were exceptional for today's day and age. Loved the local WI games. Such a fun touch. Keep up the great work. Great local dive.
