There was something wrong the night I was there as there was only one person working as waiter, cook, and bartender. He did his best coordinating orders and setting expectations, but I feel the experience would have been better with a full staff.Despite the short staff my experience was good since I am patient and didn't have anywhere else to be. I will for sure be dining here again.I think the food suffered a bit due to the above mentioned, but it was still good. I had the Bangers and Mash, which was what I was craving, but it is a tough dish to judge a whole review on.

Rather dapper fellow will make you delicious grub and serve you fresh Guinness without the taste of pennies that some bars have.

Went for lunch on a Thursday. Not busy at all. Atmosphere is what you would expect for an Irish pub. Decorated nicely for Christmas also. Ordered a Ruben sandwich and it was phenomenal. Top 3 I've ever eaten. Corey was the bartender. He's very friendly and knowledgeable about the different Irish beers on tap and whiskeys etc.. I Will absolutely go back again to try their Irish Stew and other traditional fare. Definitely recommend.Kid-friendliness: Table and booth options available in the dining area.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to get in or out. Tables available in the dining area.

This place is amazing. The Reuben was the BEST I've ever had. Hubby had the Flatbread pizza. Yum. Go say hi to Corey and Bolt (the dog). Great prices and quiet atmosphere. My favorite.

Convenient to the hotel, decent place with quick service from the guy running the place. But be warned, the dog is his priority. But would return here.

Best Irish food I've had in forever! Bangers and mash was delicious and the mac and cheese was superb. I also ordered delivery and I have to say that it was best packaged food I have had ever. Everything was meticulously cared for and was still warm when it arrived which I was extremely pleased with. I actually received utensils and nothing leaked/was wrapped.

Went for lunch and a couple of beers around 12:30 on a tuesday. There were a few other guests (who finished up fairly soon after). It was good. What I didn't like was how one of the employees was eager in pressuring me to leave, through suggestive proxy talk with his dog as he waited on a bench nearby, knowing I was in earshot. He already made it clear to me earlier, in a friendly way, that the business would be closing soon (in a half hour, at 1:30).A Previous employee had already said close was at 1:30 p.m. when I ordered my food. After he left, the aforementioned man remained, and I felt like I was overstaying my welcome a wee bit at 1. Ten minutes later I left. It's just not all that endearing. I'm not a child. I recommend they don't do that to future customers.I'm not typically 'shooshed' out of pubs in the middle of the day, or anytime for that matter, especially from ones that have an interest in making money from their charming Irish 'public house' atmosphere.I must have passed by this place in the daytime ten times already before it actually looked open enough to enter, and this was my experience. There's another Irish pub a half a block away..

The Reuben and the Shepherd's Pie were fantastic. Great atmosphere-- they happened to have a quintet of Irish musicians playing. Quite a memorable meal!!!

The food was out of this world, especially the Reuben and Shepherd's Pie. We were there on a Saturday and happened to hear a quintet of musicians playing authentic Irish music. What a treat!! If you're in Wausau, don't miss Limericks. Right downtown and a real treasure.
