Called to see if maybe they forgot me. I was at the pickup. And I asked “I’m on 8 and just wondering how much longer, been out here 15mins” I said it nicely and I didn’t mean it in a snotty way. Whoever the lady was answers and says “we was waiting on hash browns you have such a fantastic day and hangs up” she said it in the most sarcastic way. And I didn’t even have hash browns in my order ?? so very rude I thought.

It is, uh, definitely a McDonald’s. Asked for a water in the drive-thru and the person who answered me was clueless. Then a manager took over and said “we’ll do it this time, but next time you need to come into the lobby” despite it being closed all the time. Also, stupid rule. I worked at McDonald’s, too. If they order a water by itself, you can just not ring it up if it won’t let you finalize the order. That’s literally what I did and it had zero negative effect. Old fries despite being the only car there (at night, closed lobby), no napkins in the bag, shorted on sauces that we paid for (charges 20 cents for 1oz of sauce, LOL). One manager seems to think her attitude isn’t apparent. Overall, seems like a location filled with incompetent staff. In my opinion, go to the other Wausau locations.

The food was standard McDonald's selections. The floor staff kept the dining area satisfactorily clean. There is a small play area for children. Also a table with chairs for parents and children to color. The location is much larger than a standard McDonalds. Even so. It was somewhat difficult to find parking.Parking: It was rather narrow between cars and lanes. Drivers pulling out, as well as passers by may experience close calls due to limited views to negotiate as a driver in the parking lot.

Friendly service and staff. Nice clean restaurant. Food was good.This restaurant has a kids play area which are getting harder to find. It's not huge but it has a drawing table with a large roll of paper with crayons for kids to draw. I thought that added a great touch.
