Came here for lunch with several co workers. We won't be back. Isn't there some standard for dress? Not completely sure but she told several other tables she is the general manager, she was running around the restaurant in a cut off sleeveless shirt with a huge dog collar around her neck. This is who is representing this place and serving customers? I will never return. Too many other good restaurants in Wausau to deal with this. Get some class.

A bowl of watered down soup with no flavor for $8.75. Haven't been here in a while but stopped in a pinch to grab lunch. Will not be back.

I find it ridiculous that Panera Bread struggles so much to keep stuff in stock for the day. When I’m going a few times a week, hoping to get the single sandwich I’ve been craving for so long and every single time they’re either out of tomatoes or arugula and it’s still early afternoon. It sucks to know I still have to pay full price for a sandwich with just mozzarella and arugula(that tastes very chemically, they have to drown in it sauce for it to taste good) I haven’t had a decent sandwich from this place in I don’t know how long. Also, however they make their soup, specifically chicken noodle has just been absolutely disgusting, just watered down slop for $10+ in a paper cup that could barely feed a small animal. I have to drive all the way to Appleton just to get a GOOD Panera meal. I don’t know what the difference is between stores but wow, I can’t believe how run down the store in Wausau has become. It’s extremely disappointing since it has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time, but living in Wausau has made me genuinely hate it. I swear the people who work there do the absolute bare minimum, the guy can’t even say a word in the drive thru, no Hi, no Thank you have a good day, he literally opens the drive thru window and waits for you to hand him money and then shoves your change back and gives you your food about 10 minutes later. Everyone I’ve ever gone with to this location has had the same experience. I hope they shut this place down and put in a restaurant where people actually cook the food how it’s supposed to be made, actually have most of the ingredients on hand, and work how employees are supposed to in this type of establishment. I’ve worked in food service for years and still have never had the audacity to act the way Panera and its employees do.

First of all it was dirty and SLOW. I watched an employee who must have been done with a shift wait for her food right by the pickup area flinging her hair around. Then she had her hand down the back of her pants and picked through the packets at pick up area. She was also clearly tweaking out. Hard pass on this one if I were you.

Expect to pay for what I ordered for not a portion of it very disappointed, ordered a salad and it was literally like one handful for a huge bowl and 3 pieces of bacon pieces for a btl salad.

Love Panera
Great location and layout seems a little cramped but it works. Miss the lemonade. Love the soups and breads.

I love going into Panera when I travel. The food is always consistent. The only con was I wanted to eat there. I was waiting for my food not realizing it was in a paper bag on the counter. Apparently our lines got crossed between the cashier and myself.

BLT was not great. Bread not toasted, bacon undercooked. No flavor. I didn't even know it was possible to make a bad BLT, thanks Panera!

It's been quite some time since I visited a Panera Bread (because the last time I didn't care for the food they had), but I'm glad I tried it again. I don't know what they did (maybe new menu items?), but I really liked it this time. I had the toasted Italiano and a side of Mac and Cheese, delicious!

Food was great. As solo customer when pulling into drive thru I was initially at window waiting for food. Second vehicle pulled in, and then they asked for me to wait in parking space one- done. 15 minutes later I went in to ask if it would be a bit longer for my food. They checked- and brought my bag and said it must have been missed. Receipt on bag specifically stated 01 (as in parking space)I wouldn't complain- but timing seems to be a trend in previous reviews.
Hadn't been there in a while and wanted to try their new sandwich that's only here for a while.
The sandwich was awesome, the service was wonderful and sitting here eating a wonderful sandwich.
