Everything this evening was fantastic. Food , service, bar, it was all perfect. Also we forgot something important and didn't realize it till we got home. I called back and the staff went out of their way to find it. Thank you Peking.
Wow, this place has truly done a complete 180! Seems like they either revamped their cooking style or got new cooks, lol. Food was prompt, hot, fresh and very tasty for this area. The Gen Tso chicken was tender but could use more heat which I’ll request next visit. Adored the crab rangoony & egg rolls. The staff was friendly and had smiles and provided excellent customer service. Looking forward to returning for more family dinners. Thank you very muchPeking restaurant!🥡🥢

Was greeted by a friendly staff, clean white table cloths no crumbs under the table and the food was exceptional and so were the drinks

What a stunning location. The food was excellent and so was the service. The servings are large and we all ended up with leftovers. Our server transferred the food to the takeout containers and it was amazing how well he did that. Not a drop on the white tablecloth!

Loved everything about this place from food to service and atmosphere! Fine dining for Chinese cuisine! Expect to pay at least $40 per person if you decide to eat with your eyes. 🤣
My husband and I got a dinner for two which was a great deal as it comes with a starter then main course.

Peking in Wausau made our wedding reception absolutely unforgettable. Mitch and Ryan’s attention to detail was unparalleled, and they ensured every moment of our celebration went off without a hitch. The space was breathtaking, providing the perfect atmosphere for our event. The food was nothing short of spectacular—our guests are still talking about the incredible flavors and presentation. And the cocktails? Simply amazing. Mitch and Ryan went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of the evening was perfect, creating a warm, welcoming vibe that made our day truly special. If you want an exceptional dining experience with flawless service and a stunning space, Peking Now is the place to go. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Quality has really fallen in the last couple years. Used to be by far the best in town. Severely disappointed. We loved this place, now I fear it won't be around much longer if they don't turn it around

This place has a great atmosphere with awesome decore and really neat looking furniture as well as a really nice looking bar with a selection of different drinks and cocktails to choose from, which is what makes it worth checking out, but I have to say the food wasn't quite as fancy as I was hoping, as it was on par with any take out Chinese place in the area with the exception that they incorporated tomatoes into my Hawaiian chicken which is pretty much sweet and sour chicken, but the tomatoes gave it a very nice clean finish vs. most take out places, but otherwise this is more of a place to go to really see the old school architecture and enjoy the environment of a finner dinning place, definitely a place to bring a date or something for a night to remember and they have larger portions so you'll probably have some food the next day! So, if you're in the area and want to go back in time for a bit and see old school wausau and enjoy a quiet meal with your partner there your place, but be warned the food is on par for more common Chinese food, or at least what my party had, but there definitely worth a look at least once on your life

Crab Rangoon is good. Three of us had entrees, Strawberry chicken, General Taos, and a beef dish. I thought they were just ok. Not much flavor. A communal bowl of plain white rice. The Mojiotos are trash. I first got a pineapple mojito, tasted like great value pineapple soda, only. Then tried the strawberry, not much better. Couldn’t taste rum at all. Our bill for three people was $150…. Which I did not feel was worth it. The atmosphere is the coolest part of the place.

Ate here for the first time this evening. Our server Scott was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was gorgeous.
Each meal is enough for two people. We ordered one for everyone and ended up taking quite a bit home, but now we get to enjoy the leftovers tomorrow.
