This is a great option for the area to pick up some treats! My mom, sister and I stopped in to pick up some cupcakes for my dad's birthday. We were fortunate we went early and had many options to choose from! Cupcakes are $4 each, but the 12th is free. We opted for a variety. They were very sweet and had a lot of frosting. Some could have used more fillings (ho ho cake, caramel drizzle). It's a cute little shop that features other local fares.

Cake pops were beautiful for a gender reveal! They were very easy to work with and provided the cake pops for a very last minute order. I was happy with the overall service, taste and appearance! The only reason I give 4 stars is because the inside appeared purple so that was slightly disappointing (supposed to be pink)… my dad even wasn’t sure when he first bit into it! They were also slightly pricey, $45 for 15 cake pops.

My husband and I went to check out Sweet Lola's one afternoon. I personally didn't realize that it was by appointment only on the day we went. However, the gal in charge showed up just at the right time we arrived. We bought a mix and match of 6 chocolate cupcakes. They were light, fluffy and super delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants some delicious cupcakes. Thank you :)

Sweet Lola’s made a last minute cake for my wedding. They created my exact vision and it looked even better than what I expected. My family loved the cake and they all keep talking about how good it was. Definitely will be going back.

I stopped in out of the blue for a quick sweet treat, near closing time. I got a lemon cupcake, and it was divine!!

Had them make 2 different flavors of cupcakes plus my wedding cake. Highly recommended! Not only did they taste delicious! They also looked soo good!

We had the red velvet cheesecake and the red raspberry cupcake. They were good. We went right before closing on a holiday weekend so you could feel that the staff was ready to go home, but they were still courteous and helpful.

Stopped in with my daughter for local business support vs Cookie Crumble. She was very happy, as was I. The staff was very helpful and kind.

New space is bright and inviting. Entryway feels like you're in the wrong place because it's shared with another business.Fridays and Saturdays they have amazing gluten-free cupcake options!

Most disappointing birthday cake ever, looked awful and tasted even worse, don't waste your money here.

Disappointed. Had gender reveal party. Cupcakes were supposed to have pink cake to reveal the gender but were white and chocolate. Cake pops were coated in chocolate versus pink and blue. Cake was pink in the cake pops but was like paste. First experience and will probably not return.

My favorite place for cupcakes and all things sweet! Their cheesecake is amazing, super smooth and creamy. Definitely coming here for all my future bakery needs.

I ordered about 150 macarons for my wedding from this place. I had someone pick them up for me on the day so unfortunately I wasn’t there to confront them. They were very small, maybe acceptable if they were sold as “mini-macarons”. The tops were all hollow and cracked. Even though my flavors were are different, they all mostly looked and tasted the same. But the biggest problem was with the lavender flavor. Now, I’ve had all kinds of pastries in lavender and it’s literally my favorite. But it seemed like they used essential oils or something like that to flavor the lavender macarons. They were bitter and extremely soapy and just wrong. When my husband tried one (in the middle of the event) he freaked out and thought we’re getting everyone sick with this extremely bizarre macarons and had to personally go and remove them. I called because I figured they would want to know about this. The manager said she wasn't there for the past 10 days so she doesn't know what happened. But she said she will talk to the person who was in charge of that order and give me a call back. I said the lavender was definitely not right and there were other problems like the jam filling was missing and all the fillings were the same, etc. so they said they will give me a call back. They never did. Overall, it was a waste of money and a terrible memory of our day. If you can’t make it, just say so. Please don’t give garbage out.Response to owner's comment:Yes, I have the right place. My wedding was in September 2022 and in Wisconsin. I unfortunately do not have the receipt since my father-in-law picked up the order for me. But yes, it was from Sweet Lola's cupcakery in Wausau.
