Any other day I would rate this between 4 or a 5, but the server there tonight was beyond disrespectful. I totally understand being short handed, I'm a retail manager, I get it. However, there is a way you talk to your paying customers, after all they are your paycheck.We waited over a half hour just for a drink (that we never got) and eventually left due to her not even attempting to serve us.She informed me that she was the only one after 15 minutes, but didn't communicate that she would be with us soon or anything. After a bit, a friend of mind said, "she would like to place an order when you have a moment". Her reply was, I have seen you standing there for the past 10 minutes with a menu in your hand, with a cocky attitude. Again. I understand being shorted handed, but is the snarky attitude really needed? We waited a bit longer but she continued serving other customers and totally ignored us. I told my friend that we were going to leave and I'd happly spend my money somewhere else. Which we did.Honestly, the next time I come back, I will turn right around and leave if she's working. She definitely put a bad taste in our mouth. Very sad and disappointing.

Stopped for Friday fish fry with my family. We were the only ones in the restaurant to start but we didn't mind. Loved that they had Leinies Summer Shandy in bottles already! I ordered the fish sandwich with regular fries and my boyfriend ordered the Perch plate with fresh cut fries. There was a little confusion with the waitress over the French fries (we both ended up with fresh cut fries because she considered regular fries the fresh cut because that's what most people want anyway) but the waitress offered to bring out the regular crinkle fries for me. The tartar sauce was definitely homemade... it was tangy and creamy. The fish was hot, fresh and had a good crisp from the batter. The coleslaw had a tang to it, I enjoyed it.

Stopped in while visiting the area snowboarding. Typical corner bar atmosphere. Drinks were great and service was excellent. Had steak sandwich with waffle fries, sandwich was 3 stars out of 5 stars, could used a bit more flavor and a little less cook time . Overall would definitely come back.
Probably one of the better bar fish fry sit downs in the Wausau area. Great service, fun staff, and a phenomenal food. Give it a try!

BRITTANY is the best bartender. We only come when she is working because the food is good, my parter is allergic to nuts and Brittany makes sure everything is very clean.
