Our waitress Natalia was the only positive of our New Years Dinner. She was excellent, professional, and did her job well.
Elizabeth, on the other hand, was rude and spoke to us in a negative, disrespectful manner while trying to force us out because the restaurant was overbooked. This happened after we had spent nearly $500, and we were pushed to leave before finishing our drinks or even completing our final bills.
I have been in the restaurant business for many years, and this type of behavior is completely unacceptable. Poorly handling overbooking and treating paying guests this way can quickly damage a restaurant’s reputation. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened in this situation. I have never had a bad meal here until tonight. Absolutely unacceptable behavior for being in the hospitality industry.

I scheduled a reservation for my husband's birthday. The atmosphere is great. However, we had 5 people and were placed at a booth for 4 people with a chair on the end. This was cramped for our party and for waitstaff. We had too many dishes and not enough table. Appetizers were great. Entrees were great until I found a long, dark hair in my pasta. I did appreciate the birthday card for my husband and his free dessert. I gave the pasta I couldn't eat to my chickens at home so it wasn't a total waste.

We will definitely be back to try some of the main dishes they looked really good. Appreciate a menu that has unique combinations that I would not try at home. Perfect dinner spot while staying here or driving through. You never know when eating at an HGI restaurant but it felt as if we weren't even in the hotel. Food & service was 5 stars!

What fabulous food and service!!! The server was over the top attentive and charming! It was my son’s birthday and they had a card waiting for him! It was one of the most pleasant dining experiences I have ever had!!!!

Thanks for my mom's 80th birthday celebration! Without asking you seated us in a semi-private room which my mom commented how nice it was to be able to talk. I only rated noise level as moderate for the rest of the restaurant, but our room was perfect! Thanks! Highly recommended to everyone we talk with!
