“Drove from the Madison area and it was definitely worth the drive! My wife and I shared a couple two meat plates and every meat was great. I love smoked meats that have a prominent smoke flavor with a good flavorful rub. The brisket was amazing with great bark, a good smoke ring, eye tender, and moist. The burnt ends were slightly dry in texture, but the flavor and sauce were awesome. The ribs were fantastic. Smoke flavor and tenderness was top notch. Pulled pork could’ve used a bit more smoke flavor, but it was super tender and moist, so I can’t find any real fault there. The sides we tried were great! I had the grits and greens, and my wife had the cornbread as well as the Mac and cheese. Service was quick despite it being rather busy when we were there. Good thing I don’t live closer, because I’d be broke and much heavier than I already am. I will be back, though.“
