I had a great experience at Maxfield’s Pancake House in Wauwatosa! The food came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious — you can tell everything was made to order. The pancakes were fluffy, the eggs cooked perfectly, and even the coffee was spot on. Service was just ok. We waited to get the check to leave and then got stuck trying to pay. One person at the entrance was processing bills and playing hostess. On top of those 2 things, he was taking a phone order when I went to pay. The food will make me come back but, I will be conscious of the wait and that will decide whether I go

The food here is fine enough. I wouldn't pick this place myself, because although there are many menu items, it is still geared toward meat-eaters and inba fewnither ways is somewhat limited. However, lately I have been here frequently with groups and the waitresses are the best! So far, the orders have not been messed up and they do a great job of not mixing up orders and understanding what is on the menu in order to make good recommendations.
