I had ordered a pizza last night from Alphonso‘s and I thought it was the absolute worst pizza I ever had when it arrived at my house. It was almost burnt. I called and complained to the manager. He said he would do everything he could to make it up to me. So I stopped in today and they gave me a pizza and one of their sandwiches and I haven’t had the sandwich yet because I’m too full from the pizza, it was a night and day difference From yesterday to today. It was excellent.

Big mozzarella stick is not as gooey as you'd imagine, and it's served with pizza sauce instead of marinara, so it's definitely not as good as it could be. Chicken tenders were good. Staff taking orders not overly friendly. Was more excited with the prospect and was let down. Good, but not great. Probably won't be back as it's not worth the drive.

Incredibly pleased, had a great connection with staff, the atmosphere is nostalgic and happy! Pizza was sooo yummy! The extra fresh dill adds the perfect touch! The mozzarella sticks was tasty too! 10 outta 5 stars!

Traveled from South Florida to taste these yummy mozzarella sticks and they did not disappoint!!! Fantastic service and loved all the throw back items in the building too.. brought back so many memories of childhood! Thanks Alphonsos!

Went here to try the Lightning Rod, the massive cheese stick that weighs nearly a pound. It was very good, maybe could use a little more garlic in the batter. Was worth trying but I don't know if I'd go back again.

Love this place. Super friendly staff. Lightning rod mozzarella sticks are amazing. Not much place to sit, but love the 80s theme.

I ordered a stuffed pizza and the infused garlic bread. When I went to pay, the woman at the counter said one stuffed pizza and one lightning rod mozzarella stick, $47 some dollars. I said no, I didn’t order a mozzarella stick, I ordered infused garlic bread. She then tells me no, you ordered a lightning rod mozzarella stick. I again say no, I did not order that, I ordered garlic bread. She continues to insist that I ordered this mozzarella stick. I had to hold my ground because apparently this is about $7 more than the garlic bread that I wanted. Finally she gives in and changes the order. I don’t understand why she was arguing with me. It was extremely uncomfortable. This is also my first time coming to Alphonso’s :/

This place you can't really eat in so it's probably take home only.
They have 3 liter soda, but it didn't seem like any smaller one.
Food is alright, the sauce for the pizza and the bread stick was very sweet and kinda over powered the pizza, despite getting bacon on our pizza. The mozzarella sticks were $11 each and the pizza was around $20. Otherwise service was good, we waited maybe 15 minutes for the pizza. It was a unique place to visit.

Super kind staff, and incredible food!
The workers were so sweet to our little girl, offering her a juice box and letting her explore the exciting shop!
And their food is like no other Italian in Wisconsin- definitely get the Mozz sticks but you can’t go wrong with their pizza and fats service!

Great food, great service! Everyone who worked there were so nice and welcoming, and their giant mozzarella stick was amazing. I loved the retro vibe as well. Don’t be fooled by the size of the place! They are small yet mighty. I do wish there were tables to eat just to avoid being messy, but i understand why not because of the size. But I HIGHLY recommend trying this place out!!
